Plusieurs communautés au sein du mouvement Wikimedia enregistrent jusqu’aujourd’hui le problème de Gap (entre contributrices et contributeurs) et Wikimedia RDC n’en fait pas l’exception. A travers ce projet, nous allons essayer de combler ce fossé du genre, en sensibilisant et en recrutant de nouvelles contributrices, mais aussi en renforça les capacités des anciennes contributrices dans le mouvement pour qu’elles deviennent de contributrices actives.

1. Heure de bureau de présentation et sensibilisation sur la campagne (15 - 31 octobre 2023).

2. 8 sessions de formation et de contribution (édit-à-thons) en présentiel dans 4 villes différentes (1 - 30 novembre 2023)
3. Suivi et mentorat à 10 femmes afin qu’elles soient contributrices actives (1 - 31 décembre 2023)
4. Concours d'écriture (1 - 31 décembre 2023)
5. Travail du jury et publication résultat du concours (1 - 15 janvier).

Nos activités locales seront organisées dans un cadre global, avec plusieurs éditeurs expérimentés qui peuvent soutenir notre travail. La campagne sera organisée au niveau national par moi avec le soutien de quelques personnes de Wikimedia RDC. Ce dernier fournit du matériel de communication (messages sur les médias sociaux), des canaux de communication et organisent une formation en ligne et un soutien pour les groupes participants (heures de bureau, tête-à-tête, groupe, télégramme, Whatsapp, etc.). Les personnes clés pour le mentorat sont User:WINEUR, User:Rufin Wakilongo, et User:CapitainAfrica

Nos cibles sont les femmes/filles africaines, en particulier de la République démocratique du Congo. Pendant le déroulement du projet, les participantes bénéficieront du soutien de l'équipe organisatrice sur tout ce qui concerne Wiki (formation, internet,...). Après les activités, elles seront intégrées dans les différents groupes de média sociaux de Wikimedia RDC (whatsapp, télegram, …) qui rassemblent les wikimediens de la RDC, ce qui permettra de faire un suivi permanent des participants qui deviennent membres.

Je m'attends à avoir acquis de nombreuses compétences en tant que responsable d'une initiative sur le fossé entre les sexes au sein du réseau Wikimedia. Je pense pouvoir recruter, former et constituer une équipe de nouvelles contributrices dans ma région, et j'ai l'intention d'en assurer le suivi. Je m'attends à ce que de nouveaux contenus soient créés au sujet des femmes Africaines et Congolaises en particulier.
