Q. Indicate if it is a local, international, or regional proposal and if it involves several countries? (optional)

Local

Q2. If you have answered regional or international, please write the country names and any other information that is useful for understanding your proposal.

R. If you would like, please share any websites or social media accounts that your group or organization has.

1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.

The objectives of making this proposal will bring a lot of changes to the community of our country especially the Northern States where there is no available zoo, this project could be accomplish by going through where they are and take a pictures of them and upload it to Wikimedia Commons for easy accessible by the other States of Northern States of Nigeria, because zoo are rare in Northern States of Nigeria this project will help to attract the attention of people's to discover the activities of zoo animals without been there via Wikimedia Commons. During interview with zoologist Dr Hussaini Isah who specialise in the field and currently lecturer in Open University Kaduna, he advice me and suggest a way to make this project effective and he link me with different zoo's administered and he will assist and guide me to ensure the project is successful. He encouraged me and admired the way i am trying to digitalise zoo animals and made them available in a digital form, he mention that this project will help to reduce the number of people's visiting zoo especially those from other States that are far from the zoo, if the zoo animals are available in digital format, therefore they will go straight to Wikimedia Commons. This project will provide enough image's of the Zoo and Zoo's animals in Northern States and upload it to Wikimedia Commons this will be an advanced to people to make their research by going through Wikimedia Commons and accomplish their task, this project will help to make people to be wise and be aware of free licence of Wikimedia Commons. This project will covered the whole zoo's in Northern States of Nigeria, so this project will carryout and provide both image's of zoo's and zoo animals, this project will help to develop and awareness of Wikimedia Commons.

2. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.

The main approaches will be in a single category and which is the zoo's animals. The project will help people from other States of Northern Nigeria to explore themselves in zoo's via Wikimedia Commons and obtain their relevant information by organising the image's of animals and make them available and accessible by other States where there is no zoo so they can get access to it through Wikimedia Commons and discovered the animals that are kept in there and be able to identify and interprete them, this could be accomplish by engaging professionals editor's in order to contribute their exceptional contributions and perfect image's of those zoo's and animals to achieve our goal.

A photo walk to snap the pictures of these zoo's including the animals to document them in Wikimedia commons, that will help to produce a lot image's of those places.

I think this strategies will be affective because it will bring experience editors to write and also to take photos and document it, for better coverage of zoo's in Northern States of Nigeria, this would make the work effective and leave no angle untouched and also to be able to prepare a single grant that will work with a willing and able team to suit all the projects needs.

3. What are the activities you will be developing and delivering as part of these approaches or strategies?

A prepare and organized photo walk in order to cover the whole zoo's in Northern States of Nigeria. Through visiting each and every zoo that's located in Northern States and capture pictures of those zoo's and animals and upload it to served as document in Wikimedia Commons. The photowalk would gathered all the needed pictures and image's that will cover the whole Zoo's in Northern States of Nigeria, that will develop a lot of things in Wikimedia Commons. Also I will categorise and formulate a single content on Wikimedia Commons in which all this information could be found, by forming this content will help people to get access to those resources so easily and everyone who is willing to upload anything related to this may upload it on that particular content.

4. Are your activities part of a Wikimedia movement campaign or event? If so, please select the relevant campaign below. If so, please select all the relevant campaigns from the list below. If "other", please state which.

(B) he will pay attention throughout the project to ensure we gather all the requirement information that is need to provide on Wikimedia Commons. And also the person that is involved and related to this project will also contribute his experience where he was specialise and the reason why he was involved to accomplish this project which include me are as follow: SaadMuhammad070: We chose to propose for this grant due to some observation that we made on Northern States of Nigeria many places in there lack Zoo so we decided to execute the challenges they are facing in terms of Zoo, already we have been hooked up with many Zoo's administered which will make it easy to ud to acquire desirable information. The activities that we will develop in the process of getting this information which include going to each and particular Zoo and be roaming inside to take a picture of them and made them available in a digital form, we prefer to dedicate ourselves on that field. Aubulama00: what made him participate and involved on this project, this Wikimedia editor own account on Wikimedia since and he is an experience editor he made a lot of editting on Hausa Wikipedia that is why he decided to form a team with me to be part of this project because he attended different projects event run by Hausa Community he reason the project and intertwined with me to use his experience in delivering this project, then we form a team together to make use of his past experience of the past project run by other Wikimedia and we are fully interested on this project run by us but however he never organise any project despite he has the experience that is why we form a team to share our ideas to inaugrate the project
