6. What is the change you are trying to bring? What are the main challenges or problems you are trying to solve? Describe this change or challenges, as well as main approaches to achieve it. (required)

We take time looking at the articles created during our previous project and find out that some many articles need some cleanups as many does not have categories assigned to them, some were improperly referenced and contents in some others needs to be improved. In this regards, we consider giving another three months long period in improvement and creation of new articles to help add new contents and standardized the existing ones on Fulfulde Wikipedia. Secondly, part of our learning in the Thematic Weeks project we recently completed was to learn what impacts long planned activities would have in engaging the recruited participants and also to develop and establish hubs/fan clubs to help in retaining the trained newbies and keeping them engaged in constant contributions to Fulfulde Wikipedia. Being a small community that's just growing up, we learned that having a long term planned activities is more impactful than just a short term projects. Therefore, we aimed at solving the following challenges and problems through the following steps:

1. Community Enrichment: we aimed at engaging all the existing contributors and the newbies and boost their level of contributions in this three months long run project.
2. Collaboration and Inclusion: we want to used this project to improve the level of coordination and collaboration among the Fula Wikipedia editors and offer our best to ensure we bring in and brigde gender inclusion, age and geographic gap for those living in remote areas.
3. Fan Clubs Launching: From the results obtained from the Capacity Building and Thematic Weeks project, we learned that clubs would be very essential tools to help us keep the trained editors engaged, we would therefore used this opportunity to launch the identified communities as hubs and fan clubs of Wikimedia Fulfulde Community User Group keep them motivated and boost their level of contributions as well as to retain them.

Our planned activities are designed as follows:

1. We would organize 4 physical meet-ups/training edit-a-thons to training newbie editors and retrain the existing ones on how to cleanup the existing articles by improving them as well as creating the new contents while adding proper citations and references. These trainings would be held every two weeks. The last month of the project period would be the time to recap, look back at the works, coach and guide the participants more in areas they're weak and launch the hubs/fan clubs.
2. We believe the impact media organizations are bringing to our projects when the planned activities are announced/aired in Radio stations in reaching out to more participants from different part of the country. Therefore, special collaboration will be made with Radio stations and news channels to carry the Fulfulde Wikipedia news to as many places as possible. Interview would also be made with some of the facilitators to bring awareness about reading Fulfulde Wikipedia and contributing contents to it.

Musaddam Idriss (username: De-Invincible) will be the project coordinator and will lead all the activities related to the project. Ibrahim Musa (username: Ibrahim442) will be the co-organizer and will help to mobilize new participants around the project and in organizing the planned activities. Aisha Aliyu Harande (username: Harandee) as a female expert in communications will serve the role of communications and outreach in the cause of this project. Amina Idriss Musa (Hajjare) will be responsible for the welfare related stuff like making contact with the drink supplying vendors, food bookings and similar tasks.

Target audience for this project are the members of Wikimedia Fulfulde Community, interested staff of media organizations and institutions, linguists and students of various educational institutions. Men and women of different backgrounds and age group will be considered part of the participants in this project.

1. We wish to learn whether regular meet-ups would help strengthen the spirit of contributions enormously among editors and boost their spiritual level for group/teamwork.

2. One of our identified problems through previous events was improving the retention rate of recruited participants, so we wish to know whether our devised solution of having trainings on regular basis is enough to tackle the problem.
3. We wish to learn whether through this event, editing of Wikimedia projects in Fulfulde language will be sustained enough and more group of contributors will be trained.
4. We will also wish to learn what can be done to improve awareness about Fulfulde Wikipedia in our community to prepare us for more greater impacts in our subsequent projects.
