Activities

[edit]

1. What content will the contest focus on, and why is it important to your community?

The contest will focus on photos related to health and wellness, which cope with the current events in Egypt and the whole world. So the photos will focus on healthy habits and unhealthy habits so that we can health educate people. Moreover, these photos will improve the medical and awareness content in other wikimedia projects.

2. How will you let people know about the contest?

By Social Media promotion (Facebook / Instagram / Twitter)
By holding online meetings for the introduction of the contest.
By dealing with photography clubs to reach large number of professional photographers.

3. How will you judge the contest and award prizes?

By choosing three judges to choose the top 10 photos in the local contest and award cash prizes for the best five photos and ten gifts for the top ten.

4. For photo contests, what is the strategy to get images used on projects?

By holding online edit-a-thons to help integrate some of these uploaded images into existing articles on Wikipedia in addition to creating new articles based on these images.

5. Are you running any in-person events or activities? If so, you will need to complete the steps outlined on the Risk Assessment protocol related to COVID-19. When you have completed these steps, please provide a link to your completed copy of the risk assessment tool below:
