Tell us how you'll carry out your project. Be sure to answer the following questions: We've already carried out basically the same project last year in Madrid. Therefore we learned from the experiences there and will do what worked even better and at the same time not repeat mistakes. The objectives would be the same. It would be to bring lgbt activists from different countries together with the Wikicommunity but this time not only the Swedish one but also the European community that came together at the diversity conference in Stockholm last year. Then we would have a two day editathon, attend the human rights conference on the 3rd of August and take pictures for commons of the speakers at the conference. This time we would also be there to attend the actual parade on the 4th of August and also take pictures for commons. We would write articles in all languages of the participants during the editing session.
1. Are you doing one editathon or training or a series of editathons or trainings?
- Multi- day editathon and photos to be taken during the human rights conference and the parade.
2. How will you let your community know about the event? Please paste links below to where relevant communities have been notified of your proposal, and to any other relevant community discussions.
- I'll contact the two lgbt organisations that I know to get participants who are activists like I did last year. I'll also ask the Spanish community whether people from their community want to participate again this year. Further more I'll contact the participants of the diversity conference and participants of the lgbt user group.
3. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event?
- Yes me. A friend of mine who is fluent in Swedish as he studied there and a Spanish Wikipedian who helped a lot during last years events both with suggestions on what to write about and editing.
4. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?
- We'll get high quality equipment from Wikimedia Germany to shoot the photos. Participants will bring their own laptops. Wikimedia Sweden will organize a venue for editing with high speed internet.
5. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?
- We stayed in contact afterwards through various channels. I hope this type of event will take place every year from now then we could also meet in person.
6. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

How will you know if the project is successful and you've met your goals? Please include the following targets: 1. Number of events One event over several days.
2. Number of participants 12-15
3. Number of new editors 12-15
4. Number of of articles created or improved over 40 (as we wrote 49 last year)
5. Number of repeat participants (for projects that include a series of events) 5-10 (depends on the decision from the grant committee)

What resources do you have? Include information on who is organizing the project, what they will do, and if you will receive support from anywhere else (in-kind donations or additional funding).
- I'll organize the program, communication and book an accommodation
- a friend of mine and people from the Stockholm community will help with organizing a venue for editing and also with finding restaurants for lunch and dinner
- Wikimedia Germany said they would additionally sponsor the event (the part not covered by the rapid grant) and support us with equipment
- Spanish Wikipedian will help with editing and article suggestions

- It's a great way of engaging with other interested groups and potentially attracting LGBT+ cultural experts to generate ideas for where our projects lack content. - Support This is a recurring event, it brings in its own external resources, it has repeat organizers with a history of good engagement and participation at Wikimedia events, it has a productive scope, it serves an underrepresented demographic, and the budget is reasonable compared to what the Wikimedia community often supports.
