Partially Funded[edit]

Hello @James Rhoda thank you for applying for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed and approved the grant in the amount of 3,349,500 NGN (4,350 USD) with the following comments:

  • We recommend that the team reviews the budget line items related to contingency, souvenirs, certificates and printing.
  • This application builds upon a previous initiative in Kwara State. It is important for the team to provide some details regarding the past iterations and how this project aims to refine your strategies. Consider adding a dedicated section in your proposal that outlines the key learnings from the first project. Highlight specific achievements and challenges addressed and include details about how you are doing things differently now. Did you receive feedback from teachers previously, and if so, how is that incorporated into the structure of the modules?
  • Please elaborate on the post-activity engagement plan. You've mentioned a feedback survey and one-on-one interviews, which are excellent methods. However, consider adding a structured mentoring program where certified teachers from the previous initiative mentor new participants. This mentorship can provide ongoing support, answering queries, and ensuring that teachers feel connected and supported even after the formal training period ends.

Wishing you success on your project!

w:en:Wikipedia:OABOT[edit]

I see you plan to make new users edit Wikipedia. Have you considered making them start with some assisted editing? For example OAbot is a tool to quickly edit references. It's educational on multiple fronts (templates, reliable sources, systemic bias, copyright) and can make the participants feel some sense of accomplishment quite quickly.
