Questions about your request[edit]

Hello Afek Ben Chahed,

Thank you for submitting this request. I have a few questions for you about your planned participation.

  • Can you explain more about MedinaPedia? I am not familiar with it.
  • Ayoub Fajraoui has also submitted a request to participate in this same event. Because the cost of each request is very high by the general standards of this program, our preference is to fund one request for this event. Currently, we are leaning toward funding Ayoub Fajraoui because we have received confirmation that the organizers have already issued an invitation to present, and because of a stronger user contribution history. I'm sharing this now in case there is any further information you want to present for our review before we finalize a decision.

Warm regards,

Marti (WMF) (talk) 16:43, 13 July 2017 (UTC) --Afek91 (talk) 09:20, 14 July 2017 (UTC) Hello, Marti, Thank you for answering me.[reply]

  • ̈MedinaPedia is one of the projects of the Wikimedia TN User Group, we wrote more than 400 articles about the monuments of the Medina of Tunis, and uploaded more than 5000 pictures.
  • The modifications of Ayoub Fajraoui, most of them, are in Wiki Data, but I focused on writing articles in Ar Wiki(121 articles), and my project is in relation with the theme of the conference. I have sent you an email for my confirmation. Me and Ayoub we are working in the same user group and no difference between us.

Dear @Mjohnson (WMF): If the WMF will fund only one request for this event, I suggest to fund the request of Afek --Ayoub Fajraoui (talk) 11:27, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Afek Ben Chahed and Ayoub Fajraoui, thank you both very much for this additional feedback, which helps me better understand your context. We will be in touch with a decision soon. Warmly, --Marti (WMF) (talk) 15:36, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
