Plagiat[edit]

I am requesting temporary translation admin rights. Actually I am working off Special:WantedTemplates maintenance entries. These missing templates are used in (very) old translated pages. I am able to change the source (eventually), but this doesn't solve the problem, because all pages have to be updated. This is a little bit frustrating. I only want to do some cleanup. I need a translation admin beside me, to see what happens and to do finishing work. I don't want to modify current stuff, only work off Maintenance reports. If this is possible, I appreciate you in advance. --Plagiat (talk) 09:05, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Plagiat: For how long aprox. do you think you'll need it? Also, do you have experience with the translation toolset? Best regards, —MarcoAurelio 10:26, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@MarcoAurelio: I think till Monday 00:00 (UTC). If I need more time, I will request this. If less, I will inform you.
I have less experience with the translation toolset, I translate English sources to German online, especially phrases or block parts like TechNews. My primary opinion is the possibility to activate FuzzyBot updating the content, not to translate whole parts of articles. I mean, if I change an obsolete deleted entry to a replacement, or remove a non / never existing template, demanding work is to edit the concerning text in targets. I understand, if you have doubt about my eligibility. If I have trouble while replacing {{Template:PAGECONTENTLANGUAGE}} with {{CURRENTCONTENTLANGUAGE}} I will stop my doing and revoke translations admin rights. --Plagiat (talk) 11:41, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Plagiat: Thanks for your detailed response. No concerns about elegibility, it's a standard question I ask for all candidates. I think that we can grant this to you and when you've finished you can post at WM:RFH to have it removed, but when you've finished. I'd prefer not rushing and having things properly done, and maybe setting a strict timeline for this might not be very useful. In short, grant it and when you think you've finished, request removal at RFH. If there are no opinions against, I'll approve this. Thanks, —MarcoAurelio 11:47, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@MarcoAurelio: I have to thank you. I will announce finish via WM:RFH --Plagiat (talk) 11:53, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
