Translatable page name

Why isn't the page name translatable? It really should be considering that other similar pages does have their page names translatable. --Sabelöga (talk) 22:12, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

@Sabelöga: My understanding is it just is a different process to do it as the title localisation is deeper into the system, though not one with which I am familiar. DannyS712 are you elaborate on how we get/create additional Special:MyLanguage labels that redirect to translated titlename.  — billinghurst sDrewth 01:11, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
When marking a page for translation, there is an option "Allow translation of page title" that is currently not enabled on this page. This serves to alter the display title on, eg, Meta:Deletion policy/zh, to allow showing a translated version of "Meta:Deletion policy" rather than showing "Meta:Deletion policy/zh". Using Special:MyLanguage will still redirect as before, this feature only affects the displayed page title (if I understand correctly). You can see this at, eg, Meta:Vandalism/zh - the displayed page title is "元维基:破坏" instead of "Meta:Vandalism/zh". DannyS712 (talk) 01:14, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
Yes, that is basically how it works, so my question remains, is there any reason it isn't enabled on this page? --Sabelöga (talk) 01:29, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
Probably not a good one Sabelöga. I have changed the setting.  — billinghurst sDrewth 01:56, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
Okay, winkThanks! billinghurst. --Sabelöga (talk) 02:03, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
