Remove 'Wikipedia' prefix from category names[edit]

Please remove 'Wikipedia' prefix from category names in the 'protectionCategories' values. Maybe this is needs to replace on 'Meta', or just delete. --Kaganer (talk) 17:24, 4 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, as I've said in Meta:Babel this needs updating, and the only reason I've imported this is because the main Module was imported from enwiki and started being used on several places and Modules that the best option was to mirror the changes over there so we don't get the "Module error" message. —MarcoAurelio 17:27, 4 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Kaganer: Thanks for this. I'd however simplify it further. We don't need blp or arbcom, for example; and DMCA would be really extraordinary at this site. @MarcoAurelio: - Of course, this needs to be simplified. For the first draft, I believed that the code was left unchanged for its compatibility. My first and main point was to fix the links to categories, because they are now visible in the Special:Wantedcategories, and I do not want to create them in this form. @MarcoAurelio: there is also some fixes, in the category names:

  • = 'Protected pages', >> = 'Protected' (see Category:Protected)
  • = 'Office-protected pages', >> = 'Office-protected',
  • = 'semi-protected pages', >> = 'semi-protected', (see Category:Semi-protected)
  • = 'indefinitely semi-protected pages', >> = 'indefinitely semi-protected',
  • = 'move-protected pages', >> = 'move-protected',
  • = 'indefinitely move-protected pages', >> = 'indefinitely move-protected',

Correct template name[edit]
