Arguments in favour[edit]
- Support: per above--Andrijko Z. 16:07, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
- This language is located in one of the most developed region of Russia (Leningrad Oblast), so I support one more Wikipedia in the language of Russia. --амдф 16:28, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
- Support. This is living language. There are Veps literature, newspaper, TV and radio. And why a lot of constructed languages have got separate Wikipedias, but living Veps language haven't it? Igriks 18:26, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

Support Veps is small, but surpisingly livable language
- It has own (written) literature (poet Nikolai Abramov, writer Anatoly Petukhov)
- There are magazines in Veps language, Kodima (in Veps only), Carelia (Veps alongside with Karelian and Finnish) and Kipinä (Veps alongside with Karelian and Finnish)
- Veps is studied in Petrozavodsk State University, Karelian State Academy and Institute of Nordic Peoples as well as in some secondary schools in Karelia and Leningrad Oblast V. Volkov / В. Волков (kneiphof) 19:17, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Support Living language, worth having an edition of Wikipedia in order to develop it further. Comp1089 14:32, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Support Despite the fact this language is native for as few as 6000 people, there seems to be enough active contributors, plus many high-quality articles have been created in Incubator level. --Wisconsus 20:04, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
Support Per above. Iketsi 21:19, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
