A committee member provided the following comment:
No doubts about the eligibility of the language; when the activity criteria are fulfilled, it can be approved.. --MF-W 13:31, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The community needs to develop an active test project; it must remain active until approval (automated statistics, recent changes). It is generally considered active if the analysis lists at least three active, not-grayed-out editors listed in the sections for the previous few months.
Item about the language at Wikidata. It would normally include the Wikimedia language code, name of the language, etc. Please complete at Wikidata if needed.

Enable uploads
yes
Default is "no". Preferably, files should be uploaded to Commons.
If you want, you can enable local file uploading, either by any user ("yes") or by administrators only ("admin"). Notes: (1) This setting can be changed afterwards. The setting can only be "yes" or "admin" at approval if the test creates an Exemption Doctrine Policy (EDP) first. (2) Files on Commons can be used on all Wikis. (3) Uploading fair-use images is not allowed on Commons (more info). (4) Localisation to your language may be insufficient on Commons.
Indonesian has 23 million native speakers and 140 million second language speakers, who speak it alongside their local mother tongue. It is used extensively as a first language by Indonesians in urban areas, and as a second language by those residing in more rural parts of Indonesia. I hope Indonesian visitors can understand to using Wikivoyage with local languange, also presenting Indonesian culture to the world. Bonaditya (talk) 04:38, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Support Why? it already has 336 pages on Article spaces, and it will grow even more as you already know so many Indonesian speaker out there (Also, sorry MF warburg some of these people can't understand English so their argument will be just showing their support rather than showing their reason why they supporting it).--AldNonUcallin?☎ 12:57, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Update : It's now 778 article.--AldNonUcallin?☎ 13:55, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Support This language version is primaryly intended to give Indonesians a travel guide about local destinations as well as more established international one. It become relevant because not many Indonesians who need local travel guide can (and willing to) read English. ArdWar(T•C•L) 19:23, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Additional note: On Indonesian Wikibooks, there is a similar namespace "Wisata" (Travel) dedicated to travel guides. I think that information can have a new home at Indonesian Wikivoyage. 155.69.179.240 12:11, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed, those pages need to be migrated when id.wikivoyage created. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 03:26, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
