Apakah ada editor visual untuk Android yang didukung oleh Wikipedia, Boss? Saya kesulitan mengedit ketika di perjalanan atau di ruang tunggu. Pakai browser kayaknya malah acak-acakan dan kadang-kadang ter-reload dan hilang. Anta Samsara (talk) 23:08, 30 June 2019 (UTC)

Translator, We need you!
[edit]Dear Kenrick95,
You have helped us in previous years with translations and for that we are most grateful. Now we turn towards the 2011/12 fundraiser. It may seem forever away, but work has already begun getting everything ready to go. This year we want to have landing pages covering as many countries in as many languages as possible.
Right now, we want to figure out who is interested in translating for the fundraiser. This year we're hoping to have more of a solidified "core" group of translators that we can count on to have work done by a few key dates, but we'd also welcome help from people who are willing to just help out when they can.
If you would be interested please take a look at this little sign-up survey and fill it out http://survey.wikimedia.org/index.php?sid=13638&newtest=Y&lang=en. With that we can start building a list of people and filling any gaps in the languages we serve.
Many Thanks

minta tolong
Kenrick95 16:19, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Change in translations
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your activity with fundraiser translations so far!! I have one small request to make: We had to change three of the appeals; the change is the same in all of them, and the replacement text is quite short, so I don't want to e-mail people just to fix that, and that's why I'm asking you instead. It would be great if you could do the following fixes in Indonesian:
- Jimmy Letter 002
- Kaldari Letter (remember the change from 420 million to 422 million)
- Alan Letter
Since these are small changes you don't have to go through the cycle of having it proofread and everything, unless you are unsure about the translation. Thanks in advance. :-) Jon Harald Søby (WMF) 05:32, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!
[edit]Hi! I just want to thank you and give you this barnstar for your help with the translation of the 2011 fundraiser! The fundraiser was the best we ever had, both in terms of the amount we collected and in terms of number of translations. We couldn't have done either one without the help we got from you and other translators. If you are interested, we made a report, which has some statistics about the translations.
And: I have one more request, and that is that you take this survey. You may have got an e-mail about it, and if you did, please ignore this. But if you didn't it would be great if you would take this survey too, so we can learn to improve the translation experience.
Again, thanks for your help with translations – you're awesome! Jon Harald Søby (WMF) 13:31, 24 January 2012 (UTC)

English/Indonesian translators
[edit]Dear Kenrick95, I am contacting you to introduce myself. My name is Jessica Robell and I have recently joined the Wikimedia Foundation as a part of the fundraising team. My work will be focused to a large extent around translations. I am very interested in finding engaged Wikipedians, such as yourself, who would be interested in contributing with their time to translate shorter text from English to Indonesian. I know that you have been an active translator for the fundraising campaign previous years and I would be most grateful to get your support also this year. To begin with, we have for example recently put up a 'Thank you letter' from the Wikimedia Foundation's ED Sue Gardner for translation, using the translation extension. You can find the letter here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=page-Fundraising%2FTranslation%2FThank+you+email+20131202&filter=&language=id&action=translate Furthermore, in addition to using the translation extension, my aim is to develop a few personal contacts to whom I can reach out with potential questions regarding a particular word choice etc. As an engaged Wikipedia translator, I would be very interested in hearing your view on this.
Thank you very much for your support. I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards, Jessica Robell Global Fundraising Coordinator Jrobell (talk) 12:24, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!
[edit]Dear translator, with this barnstar the Community Liaisons would like to express their gratitude for your outstanding contributions to the recent 2nd VisualEditor Translathon. The initiative was really successful and we hope you enjoyed participating as much as we enjoyed organizing it! If you're looking for a new opportunity to translate VE-related content, please join translators working on the August's issue of the VisualEditor multilingual newsletter, which will be widely delivered at the end of this workweek. Among other things, this month it features the names of the top contributors for the Translathon ;) Again, thanks a lot for your help! —Elitre (WMF) and Trizek (WMF), 15:21, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- PS: Here are some instructions. Please go to the translation page: your language should be available from the drop-down menu on the right. Once you've selected it, you'll see the document in English side by side with any translation work already done in your language. You can add new translations or modify existing ones.
- PPS: We are maintaining a list of editors who have worked on VE-related content (such as newsletters). We only use it to notify them of translation opportunities, to make sure they don't miss Translathons, etc. If you would like messages like this one to be delivered on your talk page at a different WMF project, need any help with translations related to VisualEditor or would like to remove your name from that list, please contact Elitre directly.

One problem
[edit]Hi, when I use WAA tool for AzWiki I see that when size of article is less than 3500 number is red (in picture) . But I stated there that I reduced the standard from 3500 bytes and 300 words to 3000 bytes and 250 words on AzWiki.--Serk@nl@nd 15:13, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Serkanland: Hi, thanks for the report. Do note that the colors are meant to be just informative (reflecting the "standard rule") and not to be relied on. I've just added the custom byte size & word count rules into account in the tool. Check it out! Kenrick95 (talk) 16:01, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

2016 Community Wishlist Survey
[edit]Hi,
You’re getting this message because you participated in the 2015 Community Wishlist Survey and we want to make sure you don't miss it this year – or at least can make the conscious choice to ignore if it you want to. The 2015 survey decided what the Community Tech team should work on during 2016. It was also the focus of Wikimedia hackathons and work by other developers. You can see the status of wishes from the 2015 wishlist at 2015 Community Wishlist Survey/Results.
The 2016 Community Wishlist Survey is now open for wishes. You can create proposals until November 20. You will be able to vote on which wishes you think are best or most important between November 28 and December 12. /Johan (WMF) (talk) via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 11:17, 14 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi Kenrick95,
Some time ago you posted a request for material relating to Tirtanadi Water Tower. In order to facilitate these kinds of requests for material in Dutch collections, we kindly invite you te re-post your offer to the recently launched Netherlands and the World Exchange Platform. Please read the press release below for more information and links.
Netherlands and the World Exchange Platform is now online
[edit]Wikimedia Nederland launches the Netherlands and the World Exchange Platform. The platform aims to stimulate global re-use of Dutch collections on non-European cultural heritage. In particular, it aims to stimulate collections on countries with which the Netherlands have had historical ties. These countries include Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Ghana, Suriname, South Africa, and others.
The platform also aims to foster contacts between Dutch cultural heritage institutions and Wikimedia contributors across the globe. However, participation is not limited to Wikimedia contributors. Anyone can participate, making it relevant for education and research as well.
Key properties:
- Dutch heritage institutions can post offers on (parts of) their collections that are relevant to non-European countries
- Wikimedia contributors gain insight in the contents of Dutch collections and can make requests for digitalisation.
- Knowledge exchange and cooperation are key concepts.
The platform is easy to use. After registration, users can post offer/requests notices, depending on whether they are looking for material, or want to offer material for re-use. Statistics on re-use are also available.
The Netherlands and the World Exchange Platform is part of the program The Netherlands and the World. This program is supported by Wikimedia Nederland and aims to make available knowledge and content on non-European countries.
Development of the platform was financially supported by DEN.

Training modules: Can you help us with translation?
[edit]Hello Kenrick95, hope all is well! As you may know, we at the Wikimedia Foundation's Support and Safety team are developing new training materials to help contributors deal with online harassment situations, and with problems at real life events. The final English version is now finished!
I'm wondering if you would be willing to help us translate content for these Training Modules into your language. We are targeting a minimum of ten languages for these modules, including the English original.
If the answer is yes, please let me know with a ping, or just get stuck in - either way, we would really appreciate your support! Joe Sutherland (Wikimedia Foundation) (talk) 18:11, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Bulan Asia WIkipedia 2016
Namun pesan diskusi saya belum dibalas. (Ilhamjangjaya1 (talk) 14:08, 12 July 2017 (UTC))
Wikipedia Asian Month 2017 officially starts!
[edit]Dear WAM organizer,
I’m Erick Guan, the coordinator of WAM 2017. Welcome to Wikipedia Asian Month 2017. Here is some information about organizations of events at a national level.
Timeline
[edit]The event lasts a month for the participants. As of the beginning of the event, please:
- Invite previous participants to join. We have a template you may want to use.
- Setup your WAM page in your local wikiproject if you haven’t done that.
- Link your WAM page at Wikipedia Asian Month 2017. It’s important for others to understand and connect to your community! Remove the X when you done that. WAM is organized at national level. So I have to ask you to put your country in front of your name if you haven’t done that.
- Publish a notification about WAM in site notice as well as village pump. Go public!
- Connect with us. Generally send me an email so that we can reach you for future information!
- Become the jury member in a campaign on Fountain which is an amazing tool for you to supervise participants’ articles. If you don’t have the campaign set up, please contact us! And put a link to your community’s campaign page for participants’ navigation.
- Organize a off-site editathon event. A coffee bar, internet and laptops. Though it’s optional. If you want to do that, please contact me.
In the following days, you should answer the questions from your community and supervise the submissions. Hope you have fun!
Interesting articles
[edit]Have some interesting articles in your mind or from community? Drop us a line so that we can exchange the information to other communities.
