I apologise for wasting everybody's time with this. The timing was off for me, I left on vacation with the family as this process was taking place, and so I couldn't invest enough time in following up; I thought I could be more active while on vacation, but that didn't happen. Also, I did indeed fail to notice this process was meant to recruit active stewards exclusively, hence my naïve statement – I shouldn't have applied in the first place. I want to apologise in particular to the people who took the time to translate my statement, and in general to everybody who invested time in voting and/or asking questions. --Gutza 19:55, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Personal info: former Arb-com and developer; current admin on en.wiki, checkuser, bureaucrat and admin on ro.wiki, OTRS volunteer. I do not expect to be a truly active steward, I'm only applying for this status because that might occasionally dilute the other stewards' workload somewhat.
