Possible malplaced contributions[edit]

This user added a translation to a page in Pennsylvania German, and I don't have any prior knowledge in the language, but that looks suspiciously like standard German to me. Is there a possibility that this user got confused with the Deutsch/Deitsch in the language selsector and took Deitsch instead of Deutsch? --Sabelöga (talk) 11:08, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

I do not speak Pennsylvania German, but this is obviously standard German. --Ameisenigel (talk) 09:26, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

Mark Template:Archive box auto for translation?[edit]

Not sure where to ask this. –MJLTalk 17:33, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

@MJL Here is okay, but for faster response RFH is also acceptable. Regards, Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 17:38, 14 November 2020 (UTC)
Note: I am not that familiar with this hence will appreciate someone more familiar to action. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 17:42, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

Tips for translating MediaWiki software[edit]

If you who work on software (user interface) translation, then you might want to read Amir's tips for translating MediaWiki software. I've linked it in a few pages; please help get the links onto the right pages (and not the wrong pages). Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 18:44, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
