Talk:WMF Resolutions

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

This is an overview of WMF resolutions on Meta, for discussion and translation. All of the significant original resolutions at wmf:Resolutions should end up here. I am not moving approvals of minutes or other purely bureaucratic resolutions. But the minutes themselves will eventually also be moved to WMF Minutes and translated on request. Updating[edit]

What is the process for updating these? Copy-paste the resolutions from the foundation Wiki and then update them here? Also, is the plan to move the minutes still current? Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 14:18, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Curiously WMF Resolutions/Wikimedia Foundation Guiding Principles is missing from this list. Rogol Domedonfors (talk) 11:53, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Martin, whoever wants can copy the resolutions here. The main job is preparing an edited XML file, from wmf:Special:Export, suitable for import here with most translation tags added. --Nemo 16:10, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Historical"[edit]

I put the template because it appears to be abandoned, not because anything already on it is wrong. Oh wait, "A version of each resolution may be posted here on Meta, for ease of translation and comments" is clearly no longer true. Ijon (talk) 21:03, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
