মিডিয়াউইকির নতুন সংস্করণ টেস্ট উইকি এবং MediaWiki.org সাইটে ১১ এপ্রিল থেকে উপলব্ধ হবে। অ-উইকিপিডিয়া ও কিছু উইকিপিডিয়ায় এটি ১২ এপ্রিল থেকে উপলব্ধ হবে। সকল উইকিতে এটি ১৩ এপ্রিল থেকে উপলব্ধ হবে (পঞ্জিকা)।- বুধবার থেকে কিছু উইকিপিডিয়ায় ($list) "একটি লিঙ্ক যুক্ত করুন" বৈশিষ্ট্য চালু হবে। এটি আরও উইকিপিডিয়ায় এই সরঞ্জামের প্রগতিশীল প্রয়োগের অংশ। সম্প্রদায়গুলি স্থানীয়ভাবে এই বৈশিষ্ট্যটি কীভাবে কাজ করে তা কনফিগ করতে পারবে। [৪][৫]
