Re: Error when uploading Data:Requests_for_WMF_user_data.tab
Re your post on my talk page: IIRC, the only problem with the upload was that the size was too large, after going through the pretty-print formatter. I had to upload it via the API for things to work. See my comment on phab:T234788.
...Actually, I'm not completely sure that this was that case. I might be mixing it up with the issues I had with the other dataset I was uploading at roughly the same time. I don't recall having two separate errors, though...
Sorry for not responding sooner, apparently LQT failed to alert me to your post on my talk page on Wiktionary. (I should probably stop using that system, as it's full of bugs, but I'm not sure whether it would eliminate the old posts entirely if I switched it off.) --Yair rand (talk) 04:00, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply! And no worries about the delay. It's weird; the errors that were thrown seem to suggest that expected column metadata was missing, but the uploaded data set looks fine, and if I omit column metadata and try uploading, validation works as expected and the upload fails before reaching that point in the code.
- I suspect that this was not the data set that exceeded a size check. I was able to upload a copy to Beta Commons via the web interface with no difficulty.
- The Phab task related to this issue is https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T244772, if you care to follow along. --MHolloway (WMF) (talk) 17:49, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
Hello Michael. I hope that you're okay. Merry Christmas or seasonal greetings if you celebrate them. I saw that User:PushSubscriptionManager2 got the push subscription manager permission so I created the user page with a bit of information. I hope it is clear and enough but could you please take a look at it when you can? Please feel free to change it if you think the information there is incomplete or inaccurate. Best regards, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 22:10, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
