Sandbox
[edit]
Thanks for experimenting with the page Template:User language/Estonian on Wikimedia Meta-Wiki. Your test worked, and has now been reverted or removed. Please use Meta:Sandbox for any other tests you want to do, since testing in articles will be reverted quickly. Please see the introduction page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our project and also read about Meta's Inclusion policy on what is and isn't allowed on Meta-Wiki. Thanks.Abigor 23:05, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Abigor, please agf, the user created the template himself [1], maybe he did not know how to add the different translations, so he removed the text again. I'll try to find the translations. Best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 23:11, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, Spacebirdy,
- I am deeply sorry, I didn't see he was also the creator. This is complete my fault. Abigor 23:14, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Fundraising translation feedback
[edit]Hey Petri,
I wanted to ask for your help. As you may be aware we have been running banners on many language wikis. We have a lot of new content this year and I really want to conduct a thorough review of our translations. This is a combination of feedback from the community, readers, donors as well as those with professional translator experience. This will help us ensure the highest quality of translations used in our messaging.
To help us out with this I wonder if you would be willing to give us feedback for Finnish using This Link
Simply follow the simple instructions on that page and if you have any questions feel free to contact me on my talk page.
Many Thanks

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Petri. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Petri~metawiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
