Translation request
[edit]Hello,
I see you speak the Bhojpuri language. I was wondering if you can translate "village in China" and "village in Indonesia". It is for updating Wikidata. Thanks in advance. --Artix Kreiger (Message Wall) 00:43, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Artix Kreiger,
- "village in China" = "चीन में गाँव"
- "village in Indonesia" = "इंडोनेशिया में गाँव"
- Regards. --SM7--talk-- 06:50, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
Invitation for Functionary consultation 2021
[edit]Greetings SWMT member,
I'm letting you know in advance about a meeting I'd like to invite you to regarding the Universal Code of Conduct and the community's ownership of its future enforcement. I'm still in the process of putting together the details, but I wanted to share the date with you: 10 July, 2021. I do not have a time on this date yet, but I will let you soon. We have created a meta page with basic information. Please take a look at the meta page and sign up your name under the appropriate section.
Thank you for your time.--BAnand (WMF) 03:21, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
Re: Your note on Hindi wikipedia
[edit]The 3 IP's I mentioned are all blocked.
I noticed several of them always paste the same content. Maybe you can use the AbuseFilter to detect and block the vandal who is evading blocks? Just a suggestion. Happy editing! --魔琴 (talk) 12:32, 5 April 2022 (UTC)
Careless removal of topics
[edit]You have removed some topics from your talk page within two days of their creation without taking action on or repling to them. Riteze (talk) 16:38, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- Please don't talk irrelevant things here. --SM7--talk-- 18:02, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- Even after being an admin, you ignored user queries on your talk page on hindi wikipedia and removed an article without removing the reddened links to that page. Riteze (talk) 04:41, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
Unfair blocking of account
[edit]You blocked my account on hindi wikipedia at your own will, without community consensus, probably due to your fear of loosing your position as a sysops on that wiki, which was not my intention. So, please unblock my above mentioned account.Riteze (talk) 05:56, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
Please inform/warn before blocking
[edit]You didn't inform/warn following users before blocking them.

Blocking novice users without pre warning them is detrimental to building a cohesive community on wikipedia. Riteze (talk) 17:50, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
Please inform page creator
[edit]Following page is nominated for deletion but the page creator has not been informed:
| Page | Creator | Date checked |
|---|---|---|
| सदस्य:AlbertMXW | AlbertMXW | 28 April 2025 T 16:10 (UTC) |
Suddenly finding their page removed without prior information might make the novice users feel bitten by Wikipedia. If I had write access to that page, I would have done it. Riteze (talk) 14:47, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
Updates from Capacity Exchange (CapX)!
[edit]
Hello SM7,
My name is Joris Darlington Quarshie, and I am an Outreach Facilitator for the Capacity Exchange (CapX) — a platform for finding and connecting with peers to exchange knowledge and skills on a global level.
CapX is a community-built tool, designed by and for the Wikimedia Movement, to make it easier for Wikimedians across the world to find and connect, collaborate, and exchange skills and knowledge with peers.
If you don't know it yet, I invite you to access capx.toolforge.org and create your user profile with your Wikimedia account. But, if you already have a profile, I invite you to check out the new features and possibilities we just launched. I am sure you will be delighted.
CapX's new version incorporates valuable community feedback gathered over the past months, including the Organization Profile - a feature for Wikimedia affiliates, initiatives, or community groups to create their own CapX presence (see here how to create yours).
