Theme
[edit]The month of March is dedicated to Women and the Wikimedia movement welcomes the month warmly and encourages Wikimedians to do or conduct or participate in events to develop content related to Women, directly or indirectly.
Overview
[edit]- The idea of the campaign is to engage communities with easier and simpler tasks on Wikimedia commons.
- The month of March is dedicated to women and there are a lot of activities going on. We want to engage communities through some minor edits.
- Our community members have made tremendous efforts in uploading images to different photo competitions, but since some of the images are not correctly categorised or are missing descriptions, sometimes it is very hard for Wiki contributors to add those useful and more relevant images to Wiki pages.
- The campaign will be mainly focused on Wikimedia Commons. Communities or individuals will add or improve Categories, depicts and descriptions. These tasks will help to improve the content and be well-organised.
- We are tracking the campaigns around women on Wikimedia and we will try to use those images only to edit or update.
Date
[edit]- Start Date: 21 March 2023
- End date: 31 March 2023
- Time: 21 March 00:01 am to 31 March 11:59 pm.

- Edits between 21 March 00:01 am to 31 March 11:59 pm.
