Policy creation approach[edit]

This is the main policy page of the Odia-language Wikipedia or:ଉଇକିପିଡ଼ିଆ:ନିୟମାବଳୀ. This is the way the Odia Wikipedians want to go ahead:

  1. Create summary of policies (because of lack of active editors, it is difficult to write/translate or create long policy pages.) and then link to English-Wikipedia policy pages.
  2. Some policies such as bot-policy, stub-policy are different from English-Wikipedia ones. Those should be mentioned.
  3. These are policies which should be created (first priority):
  • Fair use policy
  • Copyright violation
  • Deletion
  • No original research
  • Verifiability
  • Article titles
  • Editing policy
  • Vandalism
