This is a welcome initiative that is long overdue in Nigerian Libraries. The project will help foster accessibility to library bibliographic records while also ensuring that data from African Libraries are represented in a global knowledge base. A notable benefit from this project is that it will help equip Nigerian Librarians with unique skill sets needed to work in Wikidata/Wikibase environment.
