  • Personal info: I've been editing Wikimedia projects for almost 5 years. I'm chair of the Advisory Board, and a bureaucrat on the English Wikipedia. I've been much too inactive as a steward in the past year but I hope to get a chance to make up for that if I am reconfirmed. I stopped being active after the last steward elections because there were so many super-active, highly-motivated new stewards that it wasn't necessary for me to be here, so I found other things to do on the wikis instead. I should have remembered that this level of activity would decline over time and that there would be a need for me to came back to help with the requests for permissions more often. Although I have not carried out enough steward actions, I have kept up to date with the steward policies and steward mailing list discussions.

I hörte auf aktiv zu sein nach den Steward-Wahlen des letzten Jahres, weil da so viele super-aktive, hoch motivierte neue Stewards waren, dass es nicht notwendig für mich war hier zu sein, also fand ich stattdessen andere Dinge in den Wikis. Ich hätte mich erinnern sollen, dass dieses Level an Aktivität mit der Zeit weniger wird und dass nötig gewesen wäre für mich zurückzukommen, um mit den requests for permissions öfters zu helfen. Obwohl ich nicht genügend Steward-Tätigkeiten ausgeführt habe, blieb ich up-to-date mit den steward policies und den Steward-Mailinglist-Diskussionen.

J'aurais dû me rendre compte que ce niveau d'activité diminuerait après un temps et qu'il y aurait besoin pour moi d'aider plus souvent avec les Requests for permissions. Ik ben veel te inactief geweest als een steward in het voorbije jaar maar ik hoop om een kans te halen om dit goed te maken als ik herbevestigd ben. Ik stopte met actief te zijn na de laatste stewardverkiezingen omdat er zoveel super-actieve, zeer gemotiveerde nieuwe stewards waren zodat het niet meer nodig was voor mij om hier te zijn, dus ik vond andere dingen om te doen op wikis in de plaats. Ik zou moeten hebben herinnerd dat dit niveau van activiteit naarmate de tijd nog zou verzwakken en dat het nodig voor mij zou zijn om terug te komen om vaker te helpen met requests for permissions. Eu tenho sido um tanto inativa como Steward no último ano, mas espero ter a chance de compensar isto, se for reconfirmada. Eu deixei de ser ativa após as últimas eleições, pois havia tantos novos Stewards super-ativos e altamente motivados que não houve necessidade de que eu estivesse aqui, pelo que eu procurei outras coisas para fazer, em outras wikis. Eu deveria ter me lembrado de que este nível de atividade cairia com o tempo, e que haveria necessidade de que eu retornasse para ajudar com os pedidos de permissões com maior freqüência.   1. Seems highly appropriate to me that Angela be reconfirmed, regardless of activity level. When she's had time to do so, she's acted with wisdom and fairness, keeping consensus in mind.
