Updated scripts[edit]
Hi Snowolf. I edited your global.js and common.js to update you to the latest versions ajax sysop, force ltr, and StewardScript. The new versions are compatible with the latest MediaWiki changes and reside on the Wikimedia Tool Labs for easier updates. I also updated various deprecated functions and made your scripts HTTPS-compatible.
I noticed a code comment suggesting force ltr hadn't previously worked for you. If the new version doesn't work after bypassing your cache, let me know and I'll fix it for you. :) —Pathoschild 05:46, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

Support request with team editing experiment project[edit]
Dear tech ambassadors, instead of spamming the Village Pump of each Wikipedia about my tiny project proposal for researching team editing (see here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IdeaLab/Research_team_editing), I have decided to leave to your own discretion if the matter is relevant enough to inform a wider audience already. I would appreciate if you could appraise if the Wikipedia community you are more familiar with could have interest in testing group editing "on their own grounds" and with their own guidance. In a nutshell: it consists in editing pages as a group instead of as an individual. This social experiment might involve redefining some aspects of the workflow we are all used to, with the hope of creating a more friendly and collaborative environment since editing under a group umbrella creates less social exposure than traditional "individual editing". I send you this message also as a proof that the Inspire Campaign is already gearing up. As said I would appreciate of *you* just a comment on the talk page/endorsement of my project noting your general perception about the idea. Nothing else. Your contribution helps to shape the future! The abuse filter extension is not working and a lot of accounts are being created and not used. I think the wikis captcha has been cracked. And a mediawiki version upgrade would help too. Global Twinkle[edit]
I enabled the Global twinkle option and it seems to be working fine. I wasn't able to actually use it yet because people beat me to the Vandalism but it appears to be a better option than the global rollback feature anyway because it differentiates between Vandalism and Good faith and auto opens the users talk page. Not really sure what the point of Global rollback is now with this tool. Although I am surprised that people are allowed to use Twinkle rollback if they don't have rollback access. - Hello Reguyla! I believe the main advantage of global rollback (besides its historical advantage before the new global.js came out) is in its somewhat faster operation, access to certain restricted tools on some wikis (as well as hypothetical future tools) as well as its ancillary rights, especially includes markbotedits (of some value when rolling back a user's contributions, if extensive). It might be of some advantage if one seeks to lower the page loading time and such (I've heard of people trying to avoid using scripts on those grounds), although I really am not sure as to whether that is the case. Otherwise, I personally have used the twinkle rollback (and have it currently in my global.js) probably as often as I have normal rollback, if not more :) Snowolf How can I help? 17:14, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

Confirmation discussions[edit]
Dear Snowolf,
As you probably know, the confirmation discussions for Stewards have been closed. In order to determine the outcome of these discussions, you are invited to comment on Talk:Stewards/Confirm/2016 before scheduled closure of the confirmation section "one week after the appointment of the newly elected stewards" (Sunday 6th of March, 17:22 UTC), though the closing time might be extended at the ElectCom's discretion for an extra week if it is believed "further input is required before concluding". All stewards are welcome to comment, including those newly elected.
