Add topicRequest for usurpation
[edit]Hello S1. Your request for user name usurpation has been archived (see discussion). —{admin} Pathoschild 23:48:22, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Please tone down your user page
[edit]As requested here, please adjust your user page. Thank you -- TNT (talk • she/her) 00:33, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
- While I agree with your statement, we cannot have it that way as a global user page. I have noincluded it so that it is local only, and suggest you you find a means that expresses your sentiment within the scope of the guidance. — billinghurst sDrewth 13:00, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Billinghurst: Please name the policy which this content violates in your opinion; because I just don't see any, apart from the ban of profanity on Russian WP. I'd like to add, if you just kindly requested me for the removal, I would probably agree for the sake of de-escalation; but I strongly oppose any administratively forced removal, especially given the fact that this is happening on behalf of a Putin-supporting troll, who hopefully soon will be banned by the WMF. Thanks --A.Savin (talk) 13:12, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, I did link, though if you want more direct then global user page#Content. I am not requiring any removal of the text, and have removed none as a user page here. I am allowing the conversation to continue on Meta:RfH though I do not see how you can consider and demonstrate that the expletive will be considered in scope for all wikis. If you are implicit with the expletive maybe with the use of emojis like 🤬 then I cannot see how anyone can complain. I would also state that we have removed numbers of pages where people complain about wikis, put data that is advertorial, about individuals, etc. so it is not uncommon for interventions where there are complaints about the xwiki nature of user pages. I would also note that a steward/admin asked you to tone that page down 12+ hours ago to no action, and within minutes of noinclude you have been back at me saying that I only need to ask. Again I will state that I fully agree with your sentiment, and I am abhorred by the unnecessary and deadly action by the Russian government. — billinghurst sDrewth 13:21, 28 February 2022 (UTC)

For the record
[edit]DAY OF PROTECTION OF STRANGE PEOPLE
Actually, July 29 is International Tiger Protection Day. And of course, tigers need to be protected, there are not many of them left in the world. Therefore, if you find yourself in the Bengal jungle or the Ussuri taiga and an orange, two-hundred-kilogram kitty comes out of the thicket to meet you, run to it, hug it and take care of it.
But also on July 29, 1890, in the dark pre-dawn hour, Vincent Van Gogh died. Before his death, in his delirium, he muttered: "The sadness will last forever." The other day, he finished work on the depressive canvas "Wheatfield with Crows". He went to the same place with a revolver, from which he scared away these annoying birds during work, and shot himself in the chest.
The artist was lonely, poor, unpleasant to talk to and a little insane, which often happens with geniuses. People around him shied away from this strange individual. Here, in the calendar, I talked about the French record holder for longevity, Jeanne Calment (1875 - 1997). So, she was from Arles, where Vincent spent the last year of his life, worked in her father's shop and later remembered how dirty and disgusting Van Gogh was and how she once refused to serve him. In the end, the Arlesians drove this clochard out of their glorious city. And thus contributed to his death.
If you live in a big city, every day you meet strange, unpleasant people: homeless people, alcoholics, beggars, abnormal people. At least do something good for them today. Even if they do not paint pictures, but are just strange.
After all, the tiger has fangs and teeth. Eccentrics who are not adapted to everyday life have no protection other than the kindness and patience of those around them.
