- Bom Micael D.. Pelo o que já observei, aqui se faz coisas como traduções de páginas, documentações e políticas, atendimento de pedidos para travar contas globais (de LTAs, SPAMBOTs etc), gerenciamento de privilégios de utilizadores de várias wikis e dos próprios stewards (um steward pode atribuir o estatuto de verificador, por exemplo, para si mesmo numa wiki que não tenha um verificador), planejamento de eventos relacionados à Wikimedia etc. Parece que essas as atividades principais Feliz natal! --Editor D.S (talk) 20:22, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

Poking about something else[edit]
Hi there, Editor D.S, and welcome to the rename team :). I did want to follow up on this request, which caused a lot of drama on en.wiki. This isn't a hard rule, but when an editor with a lot of edits makes a request to vanish, it is normally good to let someone who works on their home project handle it in case there is something going on and the user is about to be blocked or sanctioned. In this case, the user wanted to vanish to avoid sanctions on en.wiki, and the rename was disruptive to our process locally, and -revi eventually reversed it. - Hello TonyBallioni, thank you for the welcome. I apologize for making these mistakes in some renames. Incidentally, I think the Renaming Policy can not get any doubts about who is starting to use the tool. I often still have doubts and in some cases I even ignore the request. - No worries. The policy is somewhat intentionally vague and we basically create it through convention amongst ourselves. I’m sure I’ve made mistakes too, so it’s no big deal, but I did want to alert you to it since it did cause a bit of a fuss on en. TonyBallioni (talk) 23:59, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
- Is there a reason you are processing renames in languages you don't speak? You advised you would work on pt/lusophone projects, not projects such as enwiki. Nihlus 22:14, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
- Nihlus, because I am a global renamer, I think I could also help with other projects. To my knowledge, it is not forbidden to do this. - Global doesn't mean that you should feel free to process requests anywhere you'd like. Also, applying for the role under a false pretense is not a good look for you, especially when you've barely held the role and have already made mistakes that a language barrier would cause. Further, replies such as this, this, and this clearly demonstrate the language barrier issues at hand. There is no shortage of English speaking renamers, so I'm failing to see why you are handling these. Nihlus 23:46, 4 January 2019 (UTC)

Filter problem[edit]
Hello, can you please try to rename once again Jorge.luizc to Jrgcirilo for ukwiki as you tried recently? Starting from 14 Dec the abuse filter is being triggered selectively, for no obvious reasons. So far I tried to include several active global renames by username, so I want to check if this will work as temporary solution. @1997kB: asked for some attention.
