Fundraising translation feedback
[edit]Hey FRacco, I have a bit of a request to ask from you. We pulled down our banners nearly a fortnight ago for what was a highly successful international fundraiser and brought the curtain down on last years fundraiser. This week however we will be changing payment processors and during the testing of the new system it would be useful to use the time productively on on testing banner text.
To help us out with this I wonder if you would be willing to help us improve our italian text using This Link
Simply follow the simple instructions on that page and if you have any questions feel free to contact me on my talk page.
We are going to run the test on tuesday so if you dont see this message till 24 hours after it was sent you can ignore me :) Many Thanks though.

Re: Funzionalità Beta + varie ed eventuali

- grazie per la risposta sulla traduzione, l'ho vista e sono contento che partecipino altri (cosí me ne lavo le mani ;) );
- su MediaWiki:Sisterprojects/it, di solito chiamiamo "progetti fratelli" tutti i progetti di contenuto che non sono Wikipedia; "altri progetti" vuol dire solo "un progetto diverso da questo in cui siamo", lo usa l'interprogetto perché fuori da Wikipedia collega anche Wikipedia stessa, che non è un "progetto fratello" ma... la sorella maggiore (sí, follie terminologiche, ma l'importante è essere coerenti);
- la categorizzazione di Babel è controllata da delle configurazioni dell'estensione stessa, vedi mw:Extension:Babel per i dettagli: da sempre, i progetti in italiano non usano il livello 5, quindi se ben ricordo tale livello non è attivato; si potrebbe cambiare, ma sarebbe brutto avere una differenza fra i progetti in italiano quindi se t'interessa dovresti probabilmente proporlo al bar di it.wiki e poi notificare tutti gli altri progetti (ai tempi la configurazione l'avevamo fatta tutti insieme).

We’re excited to invite you to an inspiring global virtual gathering: the first Capacity Exchange Translat-a-thon.
Together with Language Diversity Hub, the Capacity Exchange (CapX) team will host its first Translation Marathon dedicated to ensuring linguistic equity in access to this amazing tool aimed to connect Wikimedians.
If you enjoy contributing to Wikimedia projects through translating and adapting content into different languages, this event is for you!
