The Community Wishlist Survey[edit]

Hi,

You get this message because you’ve previously participated in the Community Wishlist Survey. I just wanted to let you know that this year’s survey is now open for proposals. You can suggest technical changes until 11 November: Community Wishlist Survey 2019.

You can vote from November 16 to November 30. To keep the number of messages at a reasonable level, I won’t send out a separate reminder to you about that. /Johan (WMF) 11:25, 30 October 2018 (UTC)

Global sysop[edit]

Hi! I can see that you are pretty active on Global sysops/Requests. You were a global sysop in the past, what would you say about applying for these permissions once more? Cheers! Nadzik (talk) 13:43, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

About your warning[edit]

Actually most of the things on meta are just policies that should not be changed without community consensus, and a community consensus is reached with a RfC, so actually I may have no other things to edit other than in ENWP(my home wiki). But thanks for your reminder. ThesenatorO5-2 (talk) 23:21, 27 July 2020 (UTC)

As another person already pointed out to you on your talkpage, RFCs are usually done here by people with good understanding of Wikimedia and its projects. This is something what you are really obvious lacking. Rather then focusing on the content aspect, you focus on the policy aspect of those projects. This behaviour will get you blocked if you continue down this path.
And another piece of advice, please refrain from calling experienced contributors out on your behaviour. Especially when they valid point backed by facts. Because as he points out the recent requests here on Meta-Wiki as well on then English Wikipedia are hat collecting. You have no use for them at this point in time. Kind regards, Wiki13 (talk) 19:08, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

Mop (less heavy).svg

Congratulations, Wiki13! You now have the rights of an administrator on Meta-Wiki. Please take a moment to read the Meta:Administrators page and watchlist related pages (in particular Meta:Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat, and Meta:Requests for deletion, but also Talk:Spam blacklist and Talk:Interwiki map), before launching yourself into page deletions, page protections, account blockings, or modifications of protected pages. The majority of the actions of administrators can be reversed by the other admins, except for history merges which must thus be treated with particular care. Please feel free to join us on IRC: #wikimedia-adminconnect. You may find Commons:Guide to adminship to be useful reading although it doesn't always completely apply here at Meta. Please also check or add your entry to Meta:Administrators#List of administrators and the Template:List of administrators. You're also allowed to subscribe the metawiki admins private mailing list. Again, congratulations and welcome to the team. Matiia (talk) 17:50, 29 August 2020 (UTC)

Hi Matiia! I have added myself to template, which in turn also seems to add me to the Meta:Administrators#List of administrators table. I will have a look at the policy page to see if there's anything I might have missed when reading the page. Kind regards, Wiki13 (talk) 17:58, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
Congrats, Meta:Admin handbook is also useful too. Happy mopping. :) Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 18:02, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
Welcome to the team, Wiki13. Happy to help if you need any :-). --Martin Urbanec (talk) 11:26, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

Protection[edit]

I've semiprotected your talk page for a week due to that annoying LTA. Hope you don't mind --DannyS712 (talk) 02:21, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

@DannyS712: No problem. Was quite suprised to see 27 messages on my talkpage this morning ;-). If I feel like it I might remove the protection myself in a few days. Kind regards, Wiki13 (talk) 05:52, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
