How you can get involved:
[edit]- become a speaker and present your topic
- be a participant and engage actively in talks and discussions
- spread the word and invite others to speak and attend
- help create sustainable documentation during the conference so that we can spread it afterwards
- support the conference financially, for example by offering scholarships
- propose topics to help create the programme
Who is this conference targeted at?
[edit]This conference will address a common concern in the Wikimedia movement. Therefore, we would like to invite anyone interested in or working with diversity topics in Wikimedia projects, specifically:
- Wikipedians
- Wikimedians
- Wikimedia Foundation
- Wikimedia Chapters
- Affiliations
- Wikipedia researchers, diversity experts, and others with interest in the intersection of Wikipedia and diversity
Are you interested?
[edit]If you'd like to attend, speak, or just learn more as we're planning this conference, please signup here! We'll keep you informed as a call for speakers, and the registration and scholarships process moves forward. For topics which have been proposed so far, please check here.
