Jeżeli zostanę wybrana, wierzę, że ruch wikimedialny oraz nasza społeczność skorzystają z mojego doświadczenia jako liderki, poprzez zachowanie równowagi kiedy to walczyć o to w co się wierzy, a kiedy odstąpić od konfliktu aby wygrać coś istotnego kiedy indziej, lub stworzyć odmienne alternatywy istoty rzeczy, aby dana sprawa potoczyła się pomyślnie w inny sposób.

Życiorys

 Historia jest pisana przez tych co kojarzą, że "NIGDY" nie ma jedynej poprawnej drogi do zrealizowania czegoś. Jest tylko "LEPSZA DROGA"...

Udzielam się w edytowaniu wikipedii od roku 2006, ale na długo przed tym byłam administratorką z zawodu w różnych zakresach -- działalność gospodarczej dla zysku, organizacjach typu non-profit, organizacji rządowych (rządów zarówno Stanów Zjednoczonych jak i Indonezji). Od roku 2008, jest to na szczeblu kierowniczym, z uwzględnieniem mojego doświadczenia w środkach masowego przekazu.

Moje życie zawodowe jest bardzo ciekawe. Pracowałam jako expedientka/w sektorze sprzedarzy, sekretarka u dyplomaty, administratorka w szpitalu, kierownik, specjalistka ds. środków masowego przekazu, oraz przełożona rady powierniczej. Moje prace na uboczu to m.in. przygotowanie życiorysów osób trzecich, translatoryka, a ostatnio -- sporządzanie raportów dla różnorakich projektów.

Pewien ważny moment w mojej pracy zawodowej miał miejsce kiedy byłam na etacie administratorki w szpitalu na wyspie Bali, w Indonezji, kiedy to miał miejsce wybuch terrorystyczny parokroć setek metrów od mojego biura. Było to wydarzenie zapamiętane do dziś jako Atak Terrorystyczny z roku 2002 na Bali, i wtedy to nauczyłam się na bierząco jak uczestniczyć w sytuacjach ekstremalnych, w szczególności jak pomagać ofiarom, ich rodzinom, i jak odpierać ciekawskich. Nauczyłam się wtedy też, że reporterzy zastosują różnorakie sztuczki aby skłonić ludzi do powiedzenia czegokolwiek nadającego się do druku.

Specyficznie dla Wikimedia Indonesia (fundacja stowarzyszona z Fundacją Wikimedia): W roku 2010 zostałam wybrana na głowę lokalnej Rady Powierniczej Wikimedia Indonesia. Dałam radę rozszerzyć naszą działalność z nałego budżetu ok. 800 dolarów do 800 tysięcy dolarów w darowiznach (grants). During the evaluation of the grant project that Wikimedia Indonesia did, the feedback from our grantees (20 organizations) are 100 percent approval rate for transparent reporting, the evaluator herself is pretty surprise on the result. I guess it is safe to say that I live and breathe transparency, because there's more to transparency than being transparent, it is also about being fair and communicating enough that a problem is prevented before it happens.

Externally with other chapters: In 2012 I took a volunteer position to evaluate travel grant recipient of Wikiwomen Camp in Argentina, my own travel to the conference was funded by The Ford Foundation. The effort is supported by Wikimedia Germany, Wikimedia Argentina, Wikimedia Austria, and Wikimedia Australia. One of the recipient of this grant is Netha Hussain, it's memorable to me, because it is her first time traveling abroad, and I believe it is an eye opening travel experience for her. Wikimedia Indonesia also work with Wikimedia France and Wikimedia Swiss to revitalize Javanese Language Wikipedia in 2012-2013 project. In a serendipity moment Wikimedia New York introduce Wikimedia Indonesia with HOTOSM in Tech Camp 2011 via Dept of State during their meeting in Capitol Hill. HOT OSM later on become our office mates and project partners.

15 marca 2016, po pięciu latach stażu na tej pozycji, zakończę pracę jako przewodnicząca lokalnej Rady Powierniczej Wikimedia Indonesia. Wierzę, że organizacja ta jest gotowa na nowego lidera, a ja z kolei będę się udzielała w naszym ruchu na inny sposób.

At the Wikimedia NYC March 2016 public meeting, attendees took part in an open vote to endorse Siska's participation as a candidate in this election. Wikimedia Taiwan is endorsing Siska as a candidate for the Wikimedia Foundation board. Wikimedia Indonesia has grown to become one of the most impactful chapters in the Asian region. Due to her inspiration and passion to share, the Wikimedia Movement not only in Taiwan, but in East and South East Asia are getting momentum. At the annual meeting on 19 March 2016, Wikimedia Indonesia has agreed to support Siska's candidacy for the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees. Siska is a bold and creative person, moreover she has astounding and rich experiences in Wikimedia movements for many years.
