Proposal to prepare philosophy pages for translation

I have proposed preparing thirteen untranslated pages listed in Template:Philosophy for the Translate extension.

One week has passed since the proposal was posted, and no objections have been raised. Could a translation administrator please begin by preparing and marking Wikindividualism, Wikifederalism, Wikihierarchism, and Wikimeritocracy for translation? Help translate Wiki Loves Peace

Hello there!

I would like to kindly ask for help with translating Wiki Loves Peace into additional languages. As the campaign is intended to be a global initiative, having multiple languages will be important in helping communities around the world learn about the campaign and participate in it.

How to start translation process for m:Getting started on Wikimedia?

Hello everyone, I'd like to translate the roadmap for new users to the Wikimedia projects. So far I have only ever started to help translating pages where the translation extension was already in use. This is the first time that I am actually reading up on how it works, so please excuse my inexperience and basic questions!
Before just going ahead and involuntarily breaking something, I wanted to ask what the proper way to go ahead would be. Am I correct in assuming that I could add ‎<languages /> to the top of the page in question and the ‎<translate> tag before the pages content, the ‎</translate> tag to the end of it and then a user with the correct rights can mark the page for translation, after which I can start doing the actual translating? Universal Code of Conduct

This page has nothing to translate. It should be removed from translation system (and all translations redirected to base page). GZWDer (talk) 15:28, 12 October 2026 (UTC)

I believe this exists for navigational purposes only. The Header translations come from {{Universal Code of Conduct/Header}}, and this is supposed to tell readers through {{MovedToFoundationGovWiki}} that the actual document is elsewhere, but in their own language. _signed, Aafi (guesthouse) 16:09, 12 October 2026 (UTC)

But MovedToFoundationGovWiki already use Special:MyLanguage, so the use of translation pages is limited. What's worse is it may link to non-existent foundationwiki page. GZWDer (talk) 16:44, 12 October 2026 (UTC)
