Please sign new Wikimedia confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information by 31 December[edit]

This is a message from the Wikimedia Foundation. Translations are available.

As you may know, the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees approved a new "Access to nonpublic information policy" on 25 April 2014 after a community consultation. The former policy has remained in place until the new policy could be implemented. That implementation work is now being done, and we are beginning the transition to the new policy.

An important part of that transition is helping volunteers like you sign the required confidentiality agreement. All Wikimedia volunteers with access to nonpublic information are required to sign this new agreement, and we have prepared some documentation to help you do so.

The Wikimedia Foundation is requiring that OTRS volunteers sign the new confidentiality agreement by 31 December 2015 to retain their access. You are receiving this email because you have been identified as an OTRS volunteer and are required to sign the confidentiality agreement under the new policy. If you do not sign the new confidentiality agreement by 31 December 2015, you will lose your OTRS access. OTRS volunteers have a specific agreement available, if you have recently signed the general confidentiality agreement for another role (such as CheckUser or Oversight), you do not need to sign the general agreement again, but you will still need to sign the OTRS agreement.

Signing the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information is conducted and tracked using Legalpad on Phabricator. We have prepared a guide on Meta-Wiki to help you create your Phabricator account and sign the new agreement: Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information/How to sign

If you have any questions or experience any problems while signing the new agreement, please visit this talk page or email me (gvarnumwikimedia.org). Again, please sign this confidentiality agreement by 31 December 2015 to retain your OTRS access. Bourse Wikimania[edit]

Cher Madame, Je m'excuse si je dérange. Plusieurs utilisateurs doivent demander un visa pour assister à Wikimania. Ceci doit être fait un mois avant le voyage. Pour cela, les récipendaires concernés doivent avoir leur ticket d'avion, l'hébergement et l'enregistrement à Wikimania payés. En outre, il faut qu'il aient une lettre d'invitation à Wikimania et une assurance voyage. Je me demande si le comité peut payer directement les frais d'enregistrement, les tickets d'avion et l'hébergement à l'hôtel avant le 10 juillet 2019 afin qu'on puisse demander le visa à temps. --Csisc (talk) 17:30, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Vote pour le siège au conseil d'administration de Wikimédia France[edit]

Bonsoir Lomita,

une première rédaction du règlement de vote à cette élection laissait planer une ambiguïté sur la possibilité, ou non, de voter pour plusieurs candidatures.

Nous précisons donc qu'il est parfaitement possible de voter pour plusieurs candidatures, si tel était votre souhait.

La page du règlement a été clarifiée.

Lomita bonjour, j'essaie de comprendre le fonctionnement des micro-fi en préparation d'une nouvelle demande. Je vois sur le tableau générale que cette demande a été refusée, mais je ne vois pas dans la page même de vote, ni de décision expliquée. La page de discussion était vide (jusqu'à mon commentaire). Call For Volunteer Facilitators Across Africa [edit]

Dear Wikimedian,

The Africa Narrative is seeking volunteer facilitators in Egypt (two volunteers) and Senegal (two volunteers) for the AfroCreatives Wikiproject.

The AfroCreatives Wikiproject aims to support and mobilize creatives and professionals from the African creative sector, as well as enthusiasts more broadly, to contribute and enhance knowledge on Wikipedia about Africa’s creative economy. Its inaugural effort will target the film sectors of Egypt, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Senegal.

The Africa Narrative (TAN) is a non-profit that develops singular, high-impact initiatives in support of African creatives and the African cultural and creative industries with the aim to strengthen capacity in the continent’s creative economy and the global visibility of African cultural soft power.

All volunteers must have full professional proficiency in English. In Senegal, they must have native or full professional proficiency in French; in Egypt, they must have native or full professional proficiency in Arabic. Volunteer facilitators should have a vast knowledge about Wikimedia projects and experience with teaching new editors. All volunteers will be compensated.

Interested participants may sign up on the project's Meta page. You may also indicate your country and email if your Wikipedia account is not associated with any email address.

Bonjour Lomita, je suis en train de terminé la revue de 250~300 demandes microfi je reviens donc avec davantage de compréhension du projet. Aussi :

Toute mon admiration pour ton travail sur cette décénie. J'ai put observé ton pseudo _partout_, a travers les années. Merci à toi pour ce travail persistant. J'ai liké plusieurs de tes édits en conséquence ♥ et j'espère que mon push de nettoyage aide un peu.
Coté trimestre, j'ai constaté la présence des deux systèmes : Janvier = trimistre 1 (année calendaire) ou 3 (relatif à la campagne microfi). Je peux rapporter que, dans +95% des cas, les créateurs de demandes microfi on interprétés le paramètre trimestre en terme calendaire (ex: janvier = trimestre 1). Aussi, j'ai aligné le tout en migrant les -5% alternatif vers un format calendaire.

J'ai compris que la communauté était fatiguée en ce moment. On se voit à la Wikiconvention j'espère et on en discutera si ça te tente :) Yug (talk) 17:32, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
