[edit]

Spiritia 14:22, 5 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Spiritia,
Vladimir Penov 12:41, 9 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
:) Spiritia 10:38, 5 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Ket 14:57, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Ket 18:45, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
:) Иначе аз скайпа напоследък леко съм го игнорирала, но отговарям, когато ме търсят (s.p.i.r.i.t.i.a).

Change in translations

[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your activity with fundraiser translations so far!! I have one small request to make: We had to change three of the appeals; the change is the same in all of them, and the replacement text is quite short, so I don't want to e-mail people just to fix that, and that's why I'm asking you instead. It would be great if you could do the following fixes in Bulgarian:

Since these are small changes you don't have to go through the cycle of having it proofread and everything, unless you are unsure about the translation. Thanks in advance. :-) Jon Harald Søby (WMF) 05:30, 27 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

A barnstar for you!

[edit]
This barnstar is given to you for your help with the 2011 fundraiser translation.
This barnstar is given to you for your help with the 2011 fundraiser translation.

Hi! I just want to thank you and give you this barnstar for your help with the translation of the 2011 fundraiser! The fundraiser was the best we ever had, both in terms of the amount we collected and in terms of number of translations. We couldn't have done either one without the help we got from you and other translators. If you are interested, we made a report, which has some statistics about the translations.

And: I have one more request, and that is that you take this survey. You may have got an e-mail about it, and if you did, please ignore this. But if you didn't it would be great if you would take this survey too, so we can learn to improve the translation experience.

Again, thanks for your help with translations – you're awesome! Jon Harald Søby (WMF) 14:33, 24 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Duplicates

[edit]

Hello, sorry for the duplicate messages which you received. Here's what I just wrote to translators-l. An analysis of what happened was circulated a few days ago and now published: wikitech:TranslationNotifications issues 2012-12. It's fairly technical but it's supposed to help improve for the future, although so far it wasn't acted upon: «TL;DR: Changes in MW core exposed a bug in TranslationNotifications. The same bug is also present in other extensions. Many people participated in preventing further damage and fixing the issue. More work remains to be done.»
We still don't know if the translation notifications should now work or what's going to happen to the job queue, nor how/if todays' jobqueue disaster[3] may impact it. --Nemo 15:09, 11 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Updates from Capacity Exchange (CapX)!

[edit]

Hello Vladimir Penov,

My name is Joris Darlington Quarshie, and I am an Outreach Facilitator for the Capacity Exchange (CapX) — a platform for finding and connecting with peers to exchange knowledge and skills on a global level.

CapX is a community-built tool, designed by and for the Wikimedia Movement, to make it easier for Wikimedians across the world to find and connect, collaborate, and exchange skills and knowledge with peers.

If you don't know it yet, I invite you to access capx.toolforge.org and create your user profile with your Wikimedia account. But, if you already have a profile, I invite you to check out the new features and possibilities we just launched. I am sure you will be delighted.

CapX's new version incorporates valuable community feedback gathered over the past months, including the Organization Profile - a feature for Wikimedia affiliates, initiatives, or community groups to create their own CapX presence (see here how to create yours).
