  • Logo (current logos, guidelines, localisation)

Welcome to the process for finding a logo for Wikiversity!

Phase 1 of the logo contest has been finished (archive); we have our three finalists! The finalists were determined by taking the logo group with the most votes and eliminating all logo groups which didn't have more than half of that amount. I arranged the various designs from the winning logo groups by similarity; if you disagree with my classification, please say so on the talk page.

In phase 2, which lasted from 22 September until 30 September, there was an opportunity to refine the existing designs and propose new ones which had to be based on the basic design of the finalist logos.

Phase 3 (1 October until 15 October) determined which logo was deemed the best of its group of similar logos.

In phase 4, which lasts from 16 October until 31 October, you can now determine the winning logo! Vote for ONE logo only. Please note that if the winning logo should happen to use Wikimedia colours or have blue as its most prominent colour, those colours will have to be changed afterwards to something which is okay with the Wikimedia Marketing Department.

If you have any questions, suggestions or complaints, please contact me on this page's or my own talk page. Thanks for participating!

I presume this is a comment - certainly not a vote for - I've moved it down here from originally being within the votes section. Cormaggio @ 21:02, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think the exclamation mark in front meant Hillgentleman was expressing enthusiasm about the logo, not disapproval – I read it as "This is too much like MIT's dome to not vote it." I'm moving it back for now and I've contacted Hillgentleman about this vote. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 02:32, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
