  • increase photos in use of living people
  • decrease backlog of requested photos

library of congress
texas book festival http://www.texasbookfestival.org/
brooklyn book festival http://www.brooklynbookfestival.org/

Endorsements[edit]

  • I would support this proposal (although currently some more explanations would be nice ...). The problem are not only photographs of living people but more generally photographs that are not at least 70 years old or older. This problem is especially virulent outside the English language wikipedia, where there is no such thing as fair use. Wikimedia should try to motivate public image repositories to provide their content to the public under a free licese. --Furfur (talk) 20:18, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
    i agree - but one world at a time. Slowking4 (talk) 01:13, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
  • A very essential project that is practically indispensable. But easier said than done! Indrajitdas may like to participate. DiptanshuTalk 10:23, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Good initiative and if consider me as a part of it, I will be glad. --Indrajit Das (talk) 08:14, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
