Lost Password for DieWeisseRose

I've been contributing since 2005 under the user name DieWeisseRose. On 19 April 2011, I had an error that wiped out all my saved passwords and then my backup file failed, too. At one time, the e-mail address currently associated with DieWeisseRose2 was associated with DieWeisseRose. But at some point the association was broken. Nevertheless on 8/19/11, Wikimedia Referendum, 2011 <improve@wikimedia.org> sent DieWeisseRose a message to the email address currently associated with DieWeisseRose2. Can an admin/sysop please send a password reset for DieWeisseRose to the email address currently associated with DieWeisseRose2 or alternativiely can you associate that or another email address to my DieWeisseRose account? Another way I can verify my identity as DieWeisseRose is that I can provide the text and exact date/time of the watchlist token I set last year via https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/ . Thanks. DieWeisseRose2 (talk) 03:29, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

At the moment no email address is set for DieWeisseRose. Therefore Special:PasswordReset won't work I'm afraid. We're not able to change email addresses/passwords. So, I'm really sorry, but we can't help you further. If you don't remember the old password anymore, you can't use that account either. Trijnsteltalk 20:27, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for responding. Is there no way to use the watchlist token and IP logs to verify my identity and reestablish my access to my old username? My dynamic IP would show me working from the same geographical location now as back then and from the same ISP (albeit after a corporate takeover). DieWeisseRose2 (talk) 01:58, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
Stewards don't have access to the internals of your account's configuration, so there is nothing that we can do to access your account to change things. The best we could have done is reset the password and have it sent to you, though as Trinstel pointed out there is no email address aligned with the account. There is nothing more we can do. — billinghurst sDrewth 14:27, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
There is a process, documented here for having a password reset by a developer if, and only if, you can prove you are the owner of the account. Whether the process has ever been used or really exists is another matter QU TalkQu 12:48, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
There isn't any "process", but if one can really prove to be the legitimate owner of the account asking kindly on #wikimedia-tech FreeNode channel can get the account back. Mention the referendum thing: it's possible that the email is still associated to the username in some users list and this would surely be a proof. --Nemo 12:57, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks Nemo and all. I was on the #wikimedia-tech FreeNode channel tonight and Reedy was trying to help and said "You've got an authed email, but no address set" but also said the email was set on several wikis. After that, I tried to reset my password on all of the wikis I've ever used but I got the message that there was no associated address. Reedy also said,"I can set that email to your global account if needed" but apparently either s/he didn't do that or the effort failed because more than an hour later I still got "There is no e-mail address recorded for user 'DieWeisseRose'." --DieWeisseRose2 (talk) 04:33, 9 May 2012 (UTC)

Translation is finished and was accepted by 6 users. Its status has been "ready" for a while but nobody moved it to Wikimedia wiki. Can anybody help, please? Thanks! --Toliño Fala aquí comigo 13:15, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Hi there! Thanks for pointing it out to me, I have published it onto the Foundation wiki, and you can see it at wmf:New Terms of use/gl. I'll go through and check the other pages that may be ready to sync over to the Foundation wiki, but if you have a minute please can you proof read the main Terms of Use page which has been translated, and change the status to "Ready" (top right hand side of the page) when think it's ready for publishing. Thanks again. The Helpful One 15:39, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
It is still needed to update the link through Special:CentralNotice (message MediaWiki:Centralnotice-TOU top-url2/gl). On the other hand, I have translated the full content from the new Terms of Use, so I cannot proofread my own translations. I am waiting for other users (I made a request on gl.wp) to accept my translations. Cheers! --Toliño Fala aquí comigo 16:46, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
The link should be updated on the Central Notice now, and thank you for requesting that someone else proofreads your translations. Please let me know either here or directly on my talk page once it's been proof read and I will copy it across. The Helpful One 23:21, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Terms of use/ast URLs in CentralNotice Banner

Hi, could you please update URLs in TOU CentralNotice Banner so they link directly to asturian version of new Terms of Use and new Terms of Use introduction? Thanks in advance! --Esbardu (talk) 23:17, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Done. Thanks for letting me know, I must have missed that one. The Helpful One 23:19, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
Thank you so much for your instant response! Regards! --Esbardu (talk) 23:54, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

POTY 2011

I know that there are some banners around for POTY. (Mono made them.) Would be someone so kind and tell me what has to be done to get them running? There are also some on testwiki but each time I try to modify a campaign there, I get a server-error, while the extension seems to work. Thanks in advance. -- Rillke (talk) 22:13, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
