Dear Deborahjay, I am a translator who works mainly for the French speaking Wikipedia (I translate from German and Bulgarian). I have been asked to translate old civil status documents from the time of the French Revolution (1794 and 1796), from a small village in Alsace, which at the time was German speaking. This documents concern Jewish citizens of the then young Republic. In both documents one person signed in Hebrew letters - I think I was successful in deciphering one signature. But as I have a very limited knowledge of the Hebrew language, I am looking for a person who could help me. Would you? I thank you in advance. --Hubertgui (talk) 15:24, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
