After sleeping over it
[edit]On second thought – I hope you'll forgive me for putting the major-to-minor hat on for a moment –, I'm glad you contribute to Meta and I wish it was a safe and more courageous place, but I pray you to avoid having too much interaction (and any direct/private interaction) with DC: he is a dangerous individual and your private life would be at risk, as history shows. Leave the risk to others, you have better things to do for Wikimedia. Take care, Nemo 04:55, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
Global user page migration
[edit]Hello Krenair. I deleted your local user pages on all wikis as you requested via Synchbot. Your global user page is now active on all wikis. You can see the full log on your archive page. :) —Pathoschild 17:14, 09 May 2015 (UTC)
I understand your answer at one level. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to configure gadgets in the local wiki's MediaWiki:Gadgets-definition. Is there a help page or manual for that? I've looked, but I can't find one. Thanks. StevenJ81 (talk) 20:03, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- There's mw:Extension:Gadgets#Usage. Note that ResourceLoader support is required now. Hope that helps. --Krenair (talk • contribs) 21:38, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- OK. I'll try, and I'll let you know. I'm a lay technie, not a pro. StevenJ81 (talk) 14:35, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- By the way, I was able to load the script for personal use through my own scripts, so that's a start. That much didn't require ResourceLoader, though I may experiment with that first to make sure I get the syntax right. StevenJ81 (talk) 14:36, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Got everything working. (Activated two scripts: that one and HotCat.) Had some other help, too (hat tip to la:Usor:UV). Thanks for your help as well. StevenJ81 (talk) 15:13, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

What future IdeaLab campaigns would you like to see?
[edit]
Hi there,
I’m Jethro, and I’m seeking your help in deciding topics for new IdeaLab campaigns that could be run starting next year. These campaigns aim to bring in proposals and solutions from communities that address a need or problem in Wikimedia projects. I'm interested in hearing your preferences and ideas for campaign topics!
Here’s how to participate:
- Learn more about this consultation
- Vote on and submit new campaign topics in the AllOurIdeas Survey
- Discuss campaign topics and ask questions on the IdeaLab talk page
Take care,
I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources, Wikimedia Foundation. 03:34, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
Future IdeaLab Campaigns results
[edit]
Last December, I invited you to help determine future ideaLab campaigns by submitting and voting on different possible topics. I'm happy to announce the results of your participation, and encourage you to review them and our next steps for implementing those campaigns this year. Thank you to everyone who volunteered time to participate and submit ideas.
With great thanks,
I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources, Wikimedia Foundation. 23:56, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
