Parasnath hill and Sammed Shikhar[edit]

Hello Nizhil, Parasnath hill and Sammed Shikhar are both same. Its covered here. Is there any need for duplication and put it under Project Korikath? Bodhisattwa (talk) 01:24, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it is a new iteration of old Wiki Loves Mountain. I have used Parasnath Hill because Sammed Shikhar/Shikahrji name is specific to Jains while local tribals use Marang Buru for the hill. There has been a political conflict between two community recently regarding the hill so I avoided non-neutral name. Parasnath hill is neutral and official name of the Hill. This time, I wish to cover hill as well as sites at foothill, Madhuban. I am also planning to collab with Korikath as well as Santhali (local tribal language) Wiki community if all goes well. I have not yet declared the event. What is your opinion? Is it OK? I have duplicated all your pages and will make suitable amends in them. If I can continue it as next step to your work, I would certainly like it that way. Should I continue under old name? Thank your for your help. -Nizil Shah (talk) Nizil Shah (talk) 06:57, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have planned Wiki Treks Parasnath Hill as part of larger plan: Project Parasnath Hill which also expand to Wikipedia and Wikivoyage in next phases. Please give your opinion about it as well. - Nizil Shah (talk) 07:01, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am coming to Shikharji on 12 December as a part of larger pilgrim group and is trying to get at least some people sign up for the Wiki Treks from the group as well from outside. I am not yet certain how much support I will get. If you and others can join me, I will be more than happy. - Nizil Shah (talk) 07:07, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
