Global sysop for Hosiryuhosi
- Global user: Hosiryuhosi (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA)
Hi, I'm Hosiryuhosi. I'm active in SWMT and Japanese Projects. And I have a global rollback flag, and sysop flag in jawp. I request global sysop flag. When vandalism appears to a small Japanese project, the block of local sysop is slow. In that case, I request the block of vandalism from stewards or global sysops. However, case and it which are not blocked may be slow. Meanwhile, vandalism continues, and many pages are damaged. If I have global sysop right, I will think that the block to them can be performed quickly. In addition, in wikis in SWMT, I think that I can reduce damage. Thanks.--Hosiryuhosi 02:08, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Comment Global sysops are only able to act on projects that opted-in to GS, furthermore they entitled to act only if there are no local admins available or those local admins are inactive! a×pdeHello! 12:41, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- True, and only the Japanese Wikipedia is opted-out for global sysops - all other Japanese projects are available for them. Trijnstel 13:34, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- yes, I know it. but on the Japanese small project, the activity time of majority of local sysops is the same. If it was not activity time of local sysops, block to vandalism becomes suddenly slow. Furthermore, there is multiple cross-wiki vandalism / LTA in the Japanese project. They repeat much vandalism in a short time. --Hosiryuhosi 15:13, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Support This user is trusted on a large wiki as a sysop and has been using their global rollback flag well. While their main interest would obviously be centered around the Japanese language small wikis I see no issue with that at all. Whilst they could ask for local sysop on the small ja wikis, given the number of active users it'd be temp rights with them needing to re-ask each year or so. Given the activity I see with GR under the guise of SWMT membership I think that global sysop makes a great deal more sense. fr33kman 15:56, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Comment Do you plan to use your tools only on japanese projects, or to use them to fight against vandalism on every GS projects ? -- Quentinv57 (talk) 16:26, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- I use them to fight against vandalism on every GS projects. (But I may use it mainly in small japanese projects) --Hosiryuhosi 19:32, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Ok, so I will support this request too. You are active, using IRC and knowing about crosswiki issues, and that's people like that we need as Global Sysops. Please re-read the Global sysops page carefully and feel free to query me if you need some help. Regards, -- Quentinv57 (talk) 13:04, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

- Support, user is active on both Japanese small wikis and with the SWMT (edits on 190 wikis last time I checked). More than enough experience, and no doubt he is a trusted user. Ajraddatz (Talk) 18:52, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Support having trusted users speaking as more languages as possible should be one of our goals. --Vituzzu 19:38, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
