This page enables stewards to deal with problems relating to the recently-implemented unified login feature. These include:

Usurpation of accounts
Deletion of global accounts

Stewards: for instructions, see the steward handbook. The interface is at Special:CentralAuth. Until Bug 14330 is resolved, do not delete any global accounts that contain local accounts marked as 'confirmed by login'.

Not possible, since you already merged your accounts. We will first have to delete your global account. (You will have local accounts on all merged wikis then.) Do you want that? Btw., you have to ask the bureaucrats on the respective wikis to get your accounts fixed there. Only those without local crats can be done by us. If the user account was created by a stalker/vandalizer this can easily be checked by the IP in the server logs (don't know: is this legal ?). Can a global CU be addressed regarding this ? If it is like this, then there should be no problem with usurping.

If not, I am not sure how this all is contradictory to the principle Wikipedia:Assume good faith (see also comment here).

0 edits can mean: that the user on de.WV didn't start a negative action against the user (or de.WV) since more than 230 days. You can also say: that user didn't contribute (positively) to de.WV - there are many other user accounts like this on de.WV and probably elsewhere. Please help me with renaming my user account Rombik on ru.wiktionary.org to Роман Беккер, because I want to SUL-merge it with my main account, which is Wikipedia:ru:User:Роман Беккер. Sardur

I created a global account, and I own the en.wikipedia version. However, user 'tedder' exists on four other sites: de nl no zh. sulutil.php shows even more. One more problem occured. Yesterday when I tried to make SUL with name Сура it is started as I saw creating automatical accounts. Only one in de.wiki had been done and I even visited those page but today I can't either log in it (it is clear why) or make myself account Сура manually. It seems the account Сура in de.wiki is still exists, but I can do nothing with it. Now I see the message on the top awaring about this situation and I red the bugzilla but there is no solution there. What can be done? Sura 19:13, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've red it carefully and see that the problem is not solved yet, the only way out IMHO is to ask De-wiki sysops to rename Сура account (or may be it can be done by sysops here?)Sura 19:25, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Magnus Manske on cs.wikipedia

Not sure if this belongs on this page, but the only account I am missing in my "SUL collection" is on cs.wikipedia. Wasn't created by me, and has no edits. It would be great if someone could nuke it, I wouldn't need it. I don't know any buerocrats on cs.wikipedia, which is why I spam you here. Quiddity on pl.wikipedia

Global account deleted,not sure about other wikis, but commons, ptwiki,zhwiki, svwiki and eswiki have their own bureaucrats, you should request it there, btw global account has to be deleted now since renamimg will become impossible for the crats on those wikis since these account automatically get reserved and so cannot be usurped :)...--Comet styles 21:46, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Please, delete global account Nad, which I own at present (verify). Although I reserved it for me two days ago, I discovered a conflict between me and a colleague, mediawiki software develper, who owns this this account on EN WP, Meta and MediaWiki (and maybe other projects as well). I got in contact with him, but he also wished to have this account for his SUL. I considered to allow him use it, so I ask to have it deleted in order to make the necessary preemptive usurpations. I would like to have my SUL as Nadina. I suppose that I will have to make separate local requests, but I will be thankful if you save me this effort and after deleting my global account, also usurp this account on the several local accounts where is was registered. On my userpage User:Nadina you will find a list of the accounts that have to be usurped. As you can see, for the 11 projects, only 3 contributions were made, minor ones, and only 1 of the accounts is accessible via email. Done, the user is well aware of it, in fact because of her we found it out. The automatic created accounts she might loose but she knows and they have no or just namespace contributions, the main accounts are now free for being renamed. I used TestWiki to test SUL, but it seems that it wasn't a test at all. So I request a delete of my SUL account Diti (reason).
Additionnally, I don't know where to find locale bureaucrats. Zero-contrib accounts that need to be deleted (in order to make them available) are bg:Потребител:Diti, pl:Wikipedysta:Diti, sq:Përdoruesi:Diti, it:Utente:Diti and —I know there is a bureaucrat on this wiki, but I don't know where to find him— de:Benutzer:Diti.

OK, it's very confusing. I have not used any auto-created accounts yet. A few seconds ago I realized what such an account is when I saw that I was logged in here. Darwinek

Ziko-en

Hello, my "global account" (?) is "Ziko", and I was told that my en.WP user name "Ziko-en" cannot be renamed to "Ziko" unless my "global account" is deleted. But does that mean that all my editing history will be deleted? In "Meta" I am "Ziko-W". Another problem I have with Commons, where I am "Ziko-C", and where I unfortunately asked to merge. So there was created "Ziko-C" on other projects against my intention. For any reasons, I was once not able to register in en.WP, Meta and Commons as "Ziko" (in en.WP it is not occupied yet). Hi, please know, that You have accounts that were "automatically created" when You logged in with Your SUL account "Ziko".
If the global account is deleted those could get lost due to bugzilla:14330. I therefore suggest to wait until that bug is resolved.
