Croatian wikipedia[edit]

You have been reading about events on croatian wikipedia and because you are meta administrator I am having simple question:

Can this 2010 meta decision today be enforced on croatian wikipedia, because until now has never been activated ?

Yes croatian wikipedia is old problem from which everybody on meta is escaping--Rjecina2 (talk) 01:06, 4 October 2013 (UTC)

Google Code-in: are you in?[edit]

Hi, a year ago you were interested in mentoring at mw:Google Code-In. This week we are working on a proposal to participate this year (the deadline to submit proposals is October 28). We are basically compiling tasks for Code-in students and recruiting mentors for tasks and meta-mentors for areas. If you are interested get involved now. Thank you! --Qgil (talk) 23:07, 21 October 2013 (UTC)

Migration of tool[edit]

Hello VasilievVV, this tool of yours is often used on the Dutch Wikipedia and probably elsewhere too. Could you please migrate it to Wikimedia Labs?

Hi Victor. There is a query at mw:Extension_talk:TitleBlacklist#Whitelist_.22does_not_work.22. Any insight? Jarry1250 (talk) 23:58, 31 March 2014 (UTC)

Notice of removal of adminship[edit]

I regret to inform you that, in accordance with Meta:Administrators/Removal and as a result of your inactivity, administrator rights have been removed from your account. Please see Meta:Administrators/Removal/April 2014 for details. Kind regards, Barras talk 09:54, 1 April 2014 (UTC)

Huh, that was expected. vvvt 09:57, 1 April 2014 (UTC)

Updated scripts[edit]

Hi VasilievVV. I edited your global.js to update you to the latest version of force ltr, which is compatible with the latest MediaWiki changes and resides on the Wikimedia Tool Labs for easier updates. I noticed the script is disabled, so I left it disabled. If you decide to try to the new version, let me know if anything breaks. :) —Pathoschild 01:03, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

Please sign new Wikimedia confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information by 31 December[edit]

This is a message from the Wikimedia Foundation. Translations are available.

Wmf logo vert pms.svg

As you may know, the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees approved a new "Access to nonpublic information policy" on 25 April 2014 after a community consultation. The former policy has remained in place until the new policy could be implemented. That implementation work is now being done, and we are beginning the transition to the new policy.

An important part of that transition is helping volunteers like you sign the required confidentiality agreement. All Wikimedia volunteers with access to nonpublic information are required to sign this new agreement, and we have prepared some documentation to help you do so.

The Wikimedia Foundation is requiring that OTRS volunteers sign the new confidentiality agreement by 31 December 2015 to retain their access. You are receiving this email because you have been identified as an OTRS volunteer and are required to sign the confidentiality agreement under the new policy. If you do not sign the new confidentiality agreement by 31 December 2015, you will lose your OTRS access. OTRS volunteers have a specific agreement available, if you have recently signed the general confidentiality agreement for another role (such as CheckUser or Oversight), you do not need to sign the general agreement again, but you will still need to sign the OTRS agreement.

Signing the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information is conducted and tracked using Legalpad on Phabricator. We have prepared a guide on Meta-Wiki to help you create your Phabricator account and sign the new agreement: Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information/How to sign

If you have any questions or experience any problems while signing the new agreement, please visit this talk page or email me (gvarnum at Again, please sign this confidentiality agreement by 31 December 2015 to retain your OTRS access. If you do not wish to retain this access, please let me know and we will forward your request to the appropriate individuals.

Thank you,
Gregory Varnum (User:GVarnum-WMF), Wikimedia Foundation
