November 2018[edit]

Wikimedia Community Logo.svg November 16-30: You can vote on proposals in Community Wishlist Survey 2019. Voting phase lasts until November 30.
Wikimedia Community Logo.svg November 27-29: WikiCite 2018—the 3rd annual event of the initiative aiming to build a centralized database of sources in Wikidata—will take place in Berkeley, CA, USA. The program is available.
Wikimedia-logo.svg November 22–24: The first large Wikipedia gathering in Nepal, Wikicamp Nepal 2018 will take place in Lahan, Nepal.

Wikimedia Community Logo.svg October 29: The Community Wishlist Survey 2019 is open for proposals from registered users until November 11.
Wikimedia-logo.svg October 10: The second edition of the Wiki4MediaFreedom contest has started. It will last till November 30th, 2018.

July 2018[edit]

Mediawiki-logo.png July 23: Editing of sitewide CSS/JS will soon be restricted to a new user group, to improve the security of MediaWiki and the Wikimedia projects. The new group will be managed by the local communities, who need to set up the appropriate policy. To find out more and give feedback, see Creation of separate user group for editing sitewide CSS/JS.
