ウィキメディア財団理事会の「コミュニティ事案委員会」（CAC）へようこそ
概要
ウィキメディア財団コミュニティ事案委員会（Wikimedia Foundation's Community Affairs Committee、頭字語 CAC）は 理事会の委員会として 2021年2月24日に設けられました。 目標は「コミュニティ関連の現在および将来の努力について評価、探索、提示」することにあります。主な目的はウィキメディアの広範なコミュニティならびに財団職員と協働した競合の橋渡しとガイダンスの提供にあたることで、中心的な目的は、広範なコミュニティとメディア財団とともにウィキメディア運動の使命と理想達成に向けて協働しつつ、常に財団とその広範なコミュニティとのさまざまな良好な関係作りを図ることにあり、両者ならびに世界の利用者のニーズの差異に配慮します。」
The CAC's scope and responsibilities are laid out in its charter.
The Committee's main priorities for 2025 are:
- Community-related initiatives and affairs: Help prioritize community-related initiatives, liaising with committees and task forces, and supporting CEO and relevant staff regarding ongoing community-related priorities (e.g. engaging the movement with the annual planning work & other organisational priorities).
- Board Communications: Maintain and improve ongoing connections with communities at events, calls, and more.
- Movement Strategy: Support the implementation of the Movement Strategy, including liaising with applicable committees (e.g. Governance Committee, Affiliations Committee, as well as engaging with drafts and outputs.
