Note that global blocking currently only applies to IPs, due to a technical limitation. If you wish to request a named account for global [un]locking, please request a global [un]lock here instead. Be sure to follow the instructions below: Your request might be rejected if it doesn't include the necessary information. Warning! This page is publicly viewable. If the account name is grossly insulting or contains personal information please contact a steward privately in #wikimedia-stewardsconnect or email your request to the stewards VRT queue at stewards-oversightwikimediaorg (direct wiki interface) but do not post it here. Thanks. Warning! This is not the place to ask for locks based on your opinion that someone is disruptive. Global locks are used exclusively against vandalism and spam, not because of content disputes, not because you think that someone deserves to be globally blocked. In such cases, you should ask for local blocks at appropriate places. If you are globally locked, you should appeal your lock to stewards-appealswikimediaorg. • It's not been obvious to Wikipedia or any other part of Wiki that I belong to, but I have been a massive sockmaster since the time I joined Wikipedia. I feel it's about time I fixed that shit and moved on. You have 4 of my usernames above, most of the others have either been blocked or sorted already. I am deeply ashamed of what I've done, and request that you deal with me as sockmaster, and those accounts which exist everywhere else, and that's some 200 odd wikis, hence local blocks not feasible. From a large number of those throwaways I can't even remember, yes. Pretty much LTA over the last 7 years on a wide scale. Again, I apologise. I must seem like a right bastard around about now. • Not done. We don't lock upon self-request, and I also don't see any (other) reason to lock these accounts. So far, there's no evidence of any cross-wiki abuse. You can simply abandon these accounts by not using them anymore. You can even disable e-mail in the preferences and then scramble the passwords, if you really wish to do so.
