CIS-A2K (Centre for Internet and Society - Access to Knowledge) is a campaign to promote the fundamental principles of justice, freedom, and economic development. It deals with issues like copyrights, patents and trademarks, which are an important part of the digital landscape.

Mission

इसका उद्देश्य दक्षिण एशियाई और भारतीय भाषाओं में ज्ञान को प्रेरित करना है। विकिमीडिया का यह भाग मुख्यतः भारतीय भाषाओं और अंग्रेज़ी विकिमीडिया परियोजनाओं हेतु है—

भारतीय विकिमीडिया समुदाय को सभी उपलब्ध तरीके से समर्थन करना;
संस्थागत् भागीदारी;
free license के अन्तर्गत सामग्री प्राप्त करना;
परियोजनाओं को समुदाय के भागीदारी के साथ रूप देना और आगे बढ़ाना;
विकिमीडिया स्वयंसेवकों को मजबूत बनाने; और
एक उचित कानूनी और तकनीकी पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को सक्षम करना।

कार्य योजना

यह सिस ए2के का कार्य योजना है जो जुलाई 2015 से जून 2016 तक का है। जो भारतीय भाषाओं के विकिमीडिया परियोजना हेतु बनाया गया है। इसमें प्रभावी ढंग से कार्य हेतु अलग अलग कार्य योजना तैयार किया गया है। ए2के के दल की कार्य योजना विकिमीडिया भारत के सदस्यों के साथ मिलकर साथ कार्य करने की है। विस्तृत कार्य योजना

Media strategy

CIS-A2K works to foster the growth of Indic language Wikipedias across India. In order to do so effectively, it is important for us to engage with Indic language communities who are spread across India and the globe. Effectively communicating our work through social media to our communities and through traditional media globally, is one of our strategic priorities. Our media strategy has been drafted both in accordance with the social media strategy of the Wikimedia Foundation as well as the print media best practices CIS-A2K has followed over the years.
