Please add Image:Kohs with MyWikiBiz screen.jpg, as it is no longer needed in the process pages it was added to and it is unnecessary advertisement of a for-profit company on our pages. The image was already deleted on Meta, so it being available on Commons shouldn't override the local decision. --Nemo 20:29, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

It doesn't seem to relate with images that are usually added here. It was deleted on Meta only because it exists on Commons and we don't add all images here due to that reason. If there is anything wrong with the file being on pages, it can just be removed by editing them.
Images added here are usually disturbing, have some level of nudity, violence or anything that a vandal would want use to disturb users. Besides, images are constantly re-added after being removed, which apparently is also not the case here.—Teles «Talk to me ˱_{@ L C S}˲» 07:58, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

PiRSquared17, no, I'm not satisfied. It doesn't matter what is usually added to this list, the list serves the purpose of controlling images in accordance with the project's wish; images that are offtopic or an abuse of our pages (in this case for advertisement purposes) are not for Meta.

Teles seems to have read the log only partially, the image was deleted as off topic and restored only to be moved to Commons so it's the very opposite of what he said.[1] The pages where it is can't be changed because they are archived process pages, of course, that seems obvious to me. --Nemo 05:09, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

So, you can't edit the pages, but you can remove the files using this page... which will have the same effect? If you can remove it from here, you can just remove it from pages directly. "List a file here because I can't edit archives" is really not a reason. You may want to start a discussion on one of those files' talk page. If community approves, then there is no objection on editing those archives. If this image is really that bad, community can always review its insertion and remove it to comply with our policies. It's the same community here and there, so I don't understand the point. If you tell me that I have to edit the pages directly I can do so, but it's not the best solution IMHO. --Nemo 13:44, 26 August 2013 (UTC)

Osama pic

Can someone add File:Osama bin Laden portrait.jpg to the list? It is being abusively used by the sockpuppets of the MRY LTA across multiple wikis including Meta. Just now a sock was locked for the abuse after spamming the pic on multiple user talk pages. JavaHurricane 16:26, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

@JavaHurricane: I might be mistaken as I have not used this system much, but this is the bad image list for Meta-Wiki only, and as far as I know there's no global bad image list. I did know that the list is for Meta only, but given the fact that this image added on enwiki's list and that we're dealing with MRY, it may be a good idea to put this image into the list. MRY has used this image for cross-wiki abuse for a few months now, and now is abusing it on Meta. JavaHurricane 01:41, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
