@Nemo bis:, {{DEFAULTSORT:{{SUBPAGENAME}}}} is inappropriates for translated pages with "/<langcode>" suffixes. Documentation lacking for fields in box[edit]

This page lacks the basic wiki documentation for interpreting the fields in the box.

I am not sure what to think of this. I would expect documentation to be here for fields like "applicant_type" and "affiliate" to be here.

@I JethroBT (WMF): I understand that you are a WMF representative in overseeing these applications. Can I ask for your assistance in finding documentation in how to complete the fields in the probox? Can you please look at my proposal at Grants:Project/Public Domain Day event toolkit to see my problem? My expectation is that if I enter a field, then it should publish to the page. However, many fields which I enter in this box do not publish. Usually that is an indication of incorrect input.

I am just asking about filling out the box - thanks. Blue Rasberry (talk) 16:49, 6 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Bluerasberry: I'm pretty certain the problem is not how these fields were filled out, but rather is an issue that the Probox has not been properly designed to display this information. I've gone ahead and made some changed to the Probox template for Project Grants to display the affiliate information. I'll take a look at the applicant_type parameter later this week. Resolved.

Template not correctly formatted in mobile[edit]

The content created using the template are partially hidden when seen in smaller screens. The template doesn't seem to be responsive. This makes the information inaccessible in mobile devices particularly smaller ones (~4.3"). See linked screen shot.

It would be nice if the Template were a bit flexible with the screen sizes. At the least it must be scrollable. Kaartic correct me, if i'm wrong 17:59, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

True, I think it needs to get a max-with:100%; just need to find the correct line in the module …—XanonymusX (talk) 12:51, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User categories[edit]

Hi Nemo bis,

I believed Category:とある白い猫 was a vandalism, however it probably comes from this template. Is it possible to give a more explicit name to categories? “Category:User-related/とある白い猫”, “Category:Project lead by とある白い猫” or something like that. What do you think? —Pols12 (talk) 15:09, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Pols12, just noticed too that Special:Diff/10702458 had added the category to the page. However, it doesn't seem like a lot of grant pages have this kind of category, and I couldn't quickly find what exactly added it. ~~~~

I haven’t fully read through and understood the code, but line 93 looks quite suspicious. It adds the category only if it exists, which could explain why not a lot of grant pages are categorized this way. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 17:04, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The documentation doesn't explain how to fill the "this project needs…" part[edit]

I skimmed into the module code, and it seems to be related to something called roles there. I see in Meta:Probox/Idealab that is possible to add specific roles (and nice icons) but it's unclear how. Maybe letting an unfilled position do the trick… Psychoslave (talk) 11:39, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Endorse button not working[edit]

I'm unable to use the endorse button on grant requests. It opens the dialog box if not logged, but if logged nothing happens. Happens on FF and Chrome on linux, and i have reports that same situation happens on chromium on android. I've already disabled all gadjets and beta functions and still unable to use the button. Alchimista (talk) 18:25, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Alchimista: Do you happen to have disabled the AddMe gadget as well? That’s the gadget which powers the endorse button. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 18:33, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Tacsipacsi: yes, I've disable all gadgets and beta functions on preferences. Somehow the button doesn't work when i'm logged on. Alchimista (talk) 18:53, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
