Shinryuu

Status:    Not done

Hi. My problem is similar to that of Petrick; there seems to be an account with the same account name as mine on the Portuguese Wikipedia (pt:Usuário:Shinryuu), however since its creation in 2006 it has never been used, and on its user page it says that this account does not exist - probably an error of some kind? Merging of my global accounts will not complete and is shown as "In migration" for more than a month now, and I suppose it is for this reason. I would therefore like to ask for manual unification of my accounts. -- Shinryuu 12:41, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Portuguese Wikipedia has local bureaucrats, so I'm afraid you'll have to request this locally. Please add your request to w:pt:Wikipedia:Renomeação de conta. --Erwin 19:47, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Laz

Status:    Not done

Hi! I'm es:Usuario:Laz and en:User:Laz. I tried to unify my accounts, but saw that there was a unification in progress, by the user sharing it:utente:Laz, m:User:Laz and ru:Участник:Laz. I noticed that this user asked on Oct 24, 2008 be renamed to Lazzas. Can the rename be performed at least on meta? And, as the user writes "Lazzas (my new global account)" can the current process of unification of the user name "Laz" be cancelled so I can initiate one myself? 76.10.184.159 16:58, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This has to be dealt with by Meta bureaucrats. Please add your request to Meta:Changing username. Depending on the outcome the global account can be deleted. So for now, I'll close this request. --Erwin 19:50, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Petrick

Status:    Not done

Hello! I already got registration in ruwiki. When I try to get global account, I saw that in some wiki-projects this nickname is occupired. I check the activity of accounts (registered by this nickname - http://toolserver.org/%7Evvv/sulutil.php?user=Petrick) and saw, that the one in enwiki haven't been used - registration date is 29 July 2007 and the number of editcounts is zero. So I ask you to union the acounts (nickname=Petrick) in ruwiki and enwiki, by my domination and password (I use this nickname in ruwiki and want to create the global account). Sorry for some language or template mistakes.

--62.16.117.27 23:56, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Both these projects have local bureaucrats, so I'm afraid you'll have to request these name changes locally. Please see Index of pages where renaming can be requested for the rights pages to add your request to. --Erwin 19:51, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! So you couldn't help me at all? =( Thanks for your answer. --62.16.117.27 11:10, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I want to be globally renamed from Rusikk to FIL. Now I have renamed account in ruwiki, but my global account is still Rusikk. Rusikk 17:25, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I need to usurp account in enwiki and jawiki, which have active bureaucrats. I want to usurp the following accounts:

SKbot-2

Status:    Done

I want to usurp the following account:

For information only (these wikis has a bureaucrats, i will ask them for usurpation later):

SKbot is my bot's SUL account ownered by Sergey kudryavtsev (also SUL). I try login as SKbot at these domains of Wikisource, but have wrong password message and there are "Account created automatically" in logs (the same situation was in Latin Wiktionary, see #SKbot above). All these accounts was created yesterday, 28 April 2010, (see [1]). I suggest that some harmful persone uses a software bug to take control other SUL-accounts. -- SKbot 08:35, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stewards please see the stewards-l post [private] regarding this possible bug. --Dferg 10:18, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I reject my reqest, because it turned out, that my e-mail is associated with these local accounts. I reset password via email and manually join the local accounts with my SUL. SpeedyGonsales, the bureaucrat of Croatian Wikisource, suggest such way to me, thank him much. -- SKbot 20:32, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Closed Closed, all resolved. --Dferg 12:27, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Andewz111

Status:    Not done

I need my global account removed, since I have a Commons account created for no reason since I was being renamed to User:Puffy on Commons and enwiki too. Please delete my global account so that I can file a change on Commons for the accidentally-created account. Thanks, Andewz111 22:31, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's possible to rename a local account even if it is attached to a global one. So deleting your global account is not necessary. --Erwin 19:54, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Due to SUL merging process, I'd like to usurp the following account:

Thanks! Nazar 21:59, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nazar! Russian WQ has crats to rename your account; have you contacted them? Pmlineditor  11:16, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ye. I just found a list of 2 of them half an hour ago. But I wasn't able to find any page for requests of this kind. I'm not sure if the crats are very active there. Maybe it would be easier if you did it from here (so I don't have to contact them personally). Thanks in advance! Nazar 11:20, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, if there are crats (and they are active, even in other projects), there's no need for stewards to meddle. --FiliP ██ 11:21, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, ok. Then do the UK WB only. I asked the UK guys and they directed me here. Nazar 11:23, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) Additionally, Aleksandrit seems to be active enough. If there's no page for that, personal requests on user talk pages usually work. ukwikibooks one is Done, however. --FiliP ██ 11:24, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot. I'll try and contact the Russian Crats... 91.210.20.5 11:27, 20 May 2010 (UTC) -- actually I'm Nazar 11:31, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It seems I just lost my login status again... had to relog... hmm... is it happening because of something you do at this moment? is it normal? Nazar 11:29, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The local bureaucrat has asked the Meta Stewards to help with the procedure because he has got no time to learn how to do that (see below for details). -- Nazar 15:11, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are no special pages for this kind of requests on the above Wiki Projects.

They all have bureaucrats, but these don't seem to be active in their mission.

I've addressed the HI Wikipedia bureaucrats on en:User_talk:Hemanshu#SUL_Merge and en:User_talk:Mitul0520#SUL_Merge (as they seem to have been much more active on English Wikipedia than on the Hindi one). I also e-mailed the main HI Wikipedia bureaucrat Hemanshu (who made his last contribution over 40 days back). The other one was last active back in September 2009 :) There's a 3rd bureaucrat there too, but that one wasn't active for even much longer period, so I thought the 2 more active would suffice for the time being.. No reaction from them so far... So maybe you'd kindly help me here...

The Hindi Wikipedia bureaucrat has replied as cited below. Hope this gives you the green light to proceed with the merge from here. Thanks! -- Nazar 08:08, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the TA Wiktionary bureaucrat, I observed that he's actually more active on TA Wikipedia, and I posted my request on his talk page there: ta:பயனர்_பேச்சு:Ravidreams#SUL_Merge, as well as on his talk page in English Wikipedia: en:User_talk:Ravidreams#SUL_Merge. Accordingly to the log of his user contributions on TA Wikipedia, he made a few dozens of edits after my requests have been posted, but he seems to ignore the messages on his talk pages... I'd request some help here, if possible...

The Tamil Wiktionary bureaucrat has replied below requesting the Meta Stewards to help with the merge. Hope you'll be able to proceed with the merge from here. Thanks! -- Nazar 08:08, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've addressed the two available Arabic Wiktionary Bureaucrats on their respective talk pages both in Arabic Wikipedia -- ar:نقاش_المستخدم:Chaos#SUL_Merge and ar:نقاش_المستخدم:Lord_Anubis#SUL_merge (where they seem to be most active, making at least a few edits per month), and also on their talk pages in English Wikipedia (where they are generally a bit less active) -- en:User talk:Chaos#SUL_Merge and en:User talk:Lord Anubis#SUL_Merge. No reaction so far. Help would be appreciated!

Nazar 12:56, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've noticed some activity of en:User:Hemanshu on Hindi Wikipedia and sent him another request to his talk page there -- hi:सदस्य_वार्ता:Hemanshu#SUL_Merge. However, shortly after that he replied to my talk page in English Wikipedia as follows: "Hi Nazar, I am no longer an active admin at Hindi Wikipedia. Sorry!" (see en:User_talk:Nazar#SUL_merging). I hope this gives you enough rights to proceed with the merge from here. -- Nazar 16:36, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I am Ravidreams, Bureacrat in Tamil Wiktionary. Due to time constraints I am unable to find out how to do the SUL Merge. I request the stewards to help in this. The current user Nazar in Tamil Wiktionary has no contributions. So, the above request can be granted. Thanks--Ravidreams 07:11, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Joy

I just happened to notice that de:Spezial:Beiträge/Joy includes my edits, even though my account hasn't been globalized. I never underwent the account unification procedure because of that Bangladeshi user that turns out to be a bot - per http://toolserver.org/~vvv/sulutil.php?user=Joy But if this kind of moving of edits around is legitimate and is going to happen in the future, I wish to be safe from those other owners of Joy accounts having my work attributed to them, or even vice versa - it only seems fair. Please advise. TIA. --Joy 11:30, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User Joy from dewiki is the same like the Joy on hrwiki IMO. Or can you log in on dewiki? The problem is that Joy from hrwiki has unified his account. No he hasn´t, but he is using this account on dewiki. --WizardOfOz talk 11:37, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! For my new SUL, I would like to be renamed in Latin Wikipedia and here on META-Wiki to Deino Wanthers. I am already renamed on commons, de, en and fr Wikipedia. Thank you very much.--Fecchi 09:49, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

SlimVirgin

Status:    In progress

Hi, I'm an editor on the English Wikipedia, looking for help so that I can complete my unified log-in. Someone has set up SlimVirgin accounts on five other wikis. I've tried at various points over the years to have these removed by admins/bureaucrats on these wikis, but I either got no response or didn't understand the response. Is this something a steward can help with? When I try to unify my log-in, I get a message saying these accounts are preventing it:

  • hr.wikipedia.org [2]
  • it.wikipedia.org [3]
  • no.wikipedia.org [4]
  • pl.wikipedia.org [5]
  • zh.wikipedia.org [6]

I have accounts as William S. Saturn on Wikipedia, Commons, WikiNews and German Wikipedia as seen here. It says I have a global account, but I cannot see where. Could someone help me unify these accounts? I don't know what I need to do. Thank you.--William Saturn 21:28, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
